well they both actually press and hustle defenders properly. if its just one of them with the likes of son and johnson then it must be super deflating for them. at least when together they know they aint fighting their back 4 on their own. that eventually causes the oppo defence to have cracks, its not an easy game for them. son and johnson on the wings and they can relax far more, playing against a couple of meek little pussys.
both of them are physical units that dont mind getting into a dog fight. we need to just get them both in the box and flood it. we cant play good football anyway, especially without the likes of maddison. the midfielders we are left with are more workmanlike than actual creative sparks.

I think if son is fit and shows form next couple of games before the final, have Son LW with udogie going outside like he has been as son can cut in and be a goal threat, kulu RW as when he's fit we know he has actual quality in and around the box and again can cut in with porro going outside. Play a 3 of benta biss sarr, let sarr arrive in the box late but try to dominate midfield with legs. Let the fullbacks and that front 3 try to create something

son and johnson are as useless as richy with the ball at their feet outside the box too. you want richy in there and porro putting crosses in. get richy and solanke near each other in the box and the oppo are going to be panicking then. both actually show bravery, they wont be ducking out of headers like the rest of our forwards.
lets be honest our football is utter shite! and without berg and maddison we have no flair at all now. our only weapon is two big units up top and force the game to be played in their box and physical, we can do that due to having a player like porro who has the technique for it.

He's genuinely good in the air. I remember seeing 3 headed goals in quick succession (maybe even consecutive weeks) for Bournemouth last year and a couple of them would have been contenders for header goals of the season. Ridiculous strikes.

You want 20 goals you need 100+ shots, Solanke is operating at around 60 shots for the season.
