Scores in the Final then he owns the record for goals and assists by a British player in a EL season.

Big game player, England could actually do with a striker like him who turns it on in the big games!
Agree
Agreed, Man Utd’s back 4 are not great.his goal today shows what happens when you can get the ball in the box. solanke and richy are both very good in the box. its our only chance if we dont have the likes of maddison. get the ball out to porro and get the ball into the box near them 2. simple game and its all we can do.
He is also not very good in the air - he has had quite a few chance like Richi had last night and has rarely been close .
It is very doubtful - he would have scored had he got the same chance.
well they both actually press and hustle defenders properly. if its just one of them with the likes of son and johnson then it must be super deflating for them. at least when together they know they aint fighting their back 4 on their own. that eventually causes the oppo defence to have cracks, its not an easy game for them. son and johnson on the wings and they can relax far more, playing against a couple of meek little pussys.Richy been back and pushing Solanke has helped both of them.
Huge bonus having them both fit.

both of them are physical units that dont mind getting into a dog fight. we need to just get them both in the box and flood it. we cant play good football anyway, especially without the likes of maddison. the midfielders we are left with are more workmanlike than actual creative sparks.
I agree to the point but the amount of space and chances for Richie to do something and he just kept breaking down attack after attack was not fun to see.well they both actually press and hustle defenders properly. if its just one of them with the likes of son and johnson then it must be super deflating for them. at least when together they know they aint fighting their back 4 on their own. that eventually causes the oppo defence to have cracks, its not an easy game for them. son and johnson on the wings and they can relax far more, playing against a couple of meek little pussys.

I cannot believe no one pulled you up on this absolute horseshit, unbelievable![]()
son and johnson are as useless as richy with the ball at their feet outside the box too. you want richy in there and porro putting crosses in. get richy and solanke near each other in the box and the oppo are going to be panicking then. both actually show bravery, they wont be ducking out of headers like the rest of our forwards.I agree to the point but the amount of space and chances for Richie to do something and he just kept breaking down attack after attack was not fun to see.
I think if son is fit and shows form next couple of games before the final, have Son LW with udogie going outside like he has been as son can cut in and be a goal threat, kulu RW as when he's fit we know he has actual quality in and around the box and again can cut in with porro going outside. Play a 3 of benta biss sarr, let sarr arrive in the box late but try to dominate midfield with legs. Let the fullbacks and that front 3 try to create something
He's genuinely good in the air. I remember seeing 3 headed goals in quick succession (maybe even consecutive weeks) for Bournemouth last year and a couple of them would have been contenders for header goals of the season. Ridiculous strikes.
He's got 15 goals and 8 assists in a team that doesn't create many good chances... We're currently 11th for big chances missed. Not exactly pulling up trees in terms of creating good chancesIt was a decent goal - but he is still a very limited player - and a major reason we have been so poor this season and such a hard watch.
He would be ok as a squad player - but as an automatic starter you are asking for trouble. Especially if Johnson is also part of the three
Yes - he will get 12/15 pl goals if the team is creating lots of chances - but so would any other mediocre pl striker.
I actually had no idea he'd scored/assisted so many. Way better than I thought. He's got 15 goals and 8 assists in a team that doesn't create many good chances... We're currently 11th for big chances missed. Not exactly pulling up trees in terms of creating good chances
a 1 in 2 G/A is decent. (Most of these actually came against the better teams and in cup games)
You want 20 goals you need 100+ shots, Solanke is operating at around 60 shots for the season.
15 prem goals combined with his work rate and all round game wouldn’t be too shabbyIt was a decent goal - but he is still a very limited player - and a major reason we have been so poor this season and such a hard watch.

Saying he's not good suggests only watching him this season, and ignoring the complete lack of service

Who is Jesus Kane?Jesus Kane literally scored a brilliant finish against the now finalists Inter Milan, Solanke scored against bloody Bodo Glimt.
