I know you do think about team selections and reason why you put players in specific positions. In this instance I’m particularly intrigued.
PRIORITY: Rest and heavy Rotation.

Perfect game to fend off injury and physical stress.

Insert more quality second half, if needed.

Tel, BJ, Kinsky, Gray, Davies could do with this game.

Good opportunity to show Frank why he should consider them more.

Sarr played impromptu LB for some of one of our EL games and I was impressed with how he handled it.

Gray needs more time centrally to try and locate 'his true self', for want of a better term. Didn't want to stick him at RB. Want him right at the heart of the game.

I believe Scarlett played some games at Portsmouth on the wing when on loan to them.

Good game to give him a run out.

Tel behind Kolo to give him more opportunity for ball time, with responsibility to drop and track and also work the ball more with pace and directness.

It's all a weighted risk considering this is their keeper:

We can bring on five players at any point if we need to to close out the game.

If Frank wasn't here I might be more reluctant to go with it, but he's the kind of manager who could drill this lot to execute an effective game.

So, yeah, I'm happy with this as a starting 11 in this game, with a stonking bench ready to sort the game out if it begins to go the wrong way.

Oh, and we're at HOME. 👍
