I get the sneakiest of suspicions that Tuchel isnt going to do much with England, and England arent going to do much with Tuchel. Woeful squad selection thus far and pretty woeful performances too. As always, I hope I'am wrong.

Yeah you might be right and I might be really wrong, and as I said I want to be proved wrong. These end of season friendlies are pretty useless after a full season and naff all atmosphere, I just think we're going to be bored to death and do nothing at the World Cup. I fear we've had our chances to win something.

I don't think you are, the elite sides seem to be getting quicker and more kinetic, they are moving ball back to front like lightening. But MOSTLY I'm seeing countries developing true two footedness in their attacking players matched with a physicality we just are not here. I don't think England under this coach will get over line.
