A fairly reasonable post up until the second to last sentence, at which point pure conjecture creeps in again.
And I explained in another post why, even from a business sense, it is not logical for ENIC to be satisfied with only 4th. Because winning big trophies (not FA fucking cups) is what really catapults a club's value, not getting CL prize money every year. And ENIC wants to maximize the club's value.
The difference between my position and yours on why we are currently struggling is that your's is based on assumptions (Levy only wants 4th), which is why people roll their eyes. Mine is based on facts: ENIC didn't set up the proper football structure to be successful on the pitch. Not didn't spend more or didn't back the managers, but didn't set up a structure similar to a Brighton or a Brentford which, with our resources, would have made a significant difference to our success on the pitch.
You argue factually wrong things, such as that Levy doesn't spend (he does; he spends as much as the club can afford at any given time), whereas the rest of us argue that he doesn't spend correctly.
So forgive me if the things you say ring hollow, but when you start coming with facts to the argument you and the other Levy-bashers will be taken more seriously.
As for losing players, Chelsea lost Hazard, United lost Ronaldo, Barca lost Neymar, Liverpool lost Suarez, and the list is long. And it's not like us losing players has held us back. We've progressed significantly since Bale and Modric. Losing players is part of the game and also necessary to refresh the squad. The teams with a proper football structure don't bat an eyelid, however, as they have the next talent already identified. Which is why this is so important and what you should be slagging Levy off about. But you don't. You slag him off for lack of ambition (which cannot be verified, because you're not in his fucking head) and not spending (which is factually incorrect).
Who will we be taken more seriously by? You and your little band of merry men? Oh god, the fucking joys! There’s like 6 of you. 80 odd percent of this forum polls as wanting the cunts out. We don’t care about what any of you say or think. Its all smoke and mirrors with Levy, playing the same game he's always played to get:
1. Fans to renew ST by using sources to spread rumours about new signings, winning managers etc.
2. Talking bollocks about Tottenham's DNA and then employing Nuno 3 months after sacking Mourinho 6 days before a cup final.
3. Charging the most expensive match tickets, season tickets in Europe to watch mediocre players like Dier, Sanchez etc. Leading to dull as dishwater football because the winning manager doesn't have the players that fit the system they want to play.
Remember the club motto is to dare is to do, Levy never dares and certainly doesn't do.
Infact the club should change the motto to ' To Dare is too Dear' or ' Winning is Hard'

I don't get it with the folks who say Conte was truly backed(Let me also be clear on my position: CONTE OUT). He was given an average Barca castoff in Lenglet instead of Bastoni, got given Bissouma and Spence when it's clear the dude didn't rate either of them. A capable RWB in Porro was signed in the dying embers of January after watching Emerson ball the whole first half of the season.

I don't know if he bought exactly the players that each manager wanted (and that is risky in and of itself), but we did spend a load beginning in 2019, with the culmination being this past summer and winter where we spent upwards of 200 million. And 40 million in Jan on a RWB when he could have easily told Conte to give Spence a fucking chance. Even let Doherty go on a free.
You don't want to look at the facts, because it doesn't suit your narrative. You will always find something to bash him about. And to top it off you bash him about the wrong things! Levy obviously lied about being a Spurs fan because he couldn't give two hoots about silverware. It's time to move on, and frankly I'd swap that stadium for regular trophies any day of the week. The game is about winning glory, not building the biggest stadium and having the most go karts whizzing around, or hoping Beyonce will sing the CL anthem every year.
