ENIC In or ENIC Out

Football has always been an escape from reality.

And the fact is football can be an important/central part of peoples lives. For some it’s a lot more important than for others.

Added to that I think this place can be extreme due to it being so faceless. Which doesn’t help.
Saying that the people who go out of their way to meet up at games have all been properly nice people. Hats off to them!

I wasn’t talking about here. Social media.

Agree that ENIC aren’t going to sell (probably not for another 7 to 10 years) but remember they appointed Nuno and made Stellini up to manager. They didn’t attempt to sign Poch or Nagelsman. You cannot be happy about that, will you remain silent??
We agree that ENIC aren’t going anywhere soon but that is all the more reason why we should put pressure on them to change their philosophy around football related decisions.
I used to think that Levy wanted to see us win trophies, that the new stadium and revenue it would generate would be ploughed back into the squad. Now I believe their plan and FOCUS is to maximise all commercial incomes (European League, NFL, Concerts, champions league football, go-karting, hotel developments) in order build up an asset to sell for a couple of extra billion. Us fans and trophies are of secondary importance.
Yeah very fair points for which alot of them I do agree with.

Very disappointed about the news regarding Poch and especially Nagelsmann, they would have been great for us just to bring some positive football and energy back to the club. I like Poch in his time here but he was just as to blame for some of the failures in big matches.

I've been very focal on this forum (not that it means much) for fans to put pressure with protests etc to force change but certain posters think I'm stirring the pot when that's really not the case. I'm not in the group of wanting 'ENIC Out' but if it did force change than who am I to argue? Instead no one protests and here we are going round in circles again. The views I get from posters on here about hating ENIC and the way they put their point across isn't going to change my mind anytime soon.

I don't buy into the stuff about Levy not wanting to win trophies, unfortunately for various reasons it hasn't happened.

What's the point in me supporting this club and whinging about a position where alot of football clubs would like to be in the grand scheme of things. Admittedly things are not good now, but what's to say that can't change?

Although one thing I will admit is I really hope we don't appoint Ryan Mason full time, not because I think he's a bad person he just really isn't suited to this job currently.
