Im not disputing they will investigate, the only people that will be implicated and have any kind of issue with this are those that were involved.

No one is knocking down spurs players doors looking for evidence of insider trading.
It’ll go on for years & the longer it goes on and Lewis fights it , the deeper the USFP will go.

If they choose to they could also freeze his assets

It’s undeniably a mess

Im sure the US government takes insider trading very seriously

Eh ??

Enic, which is a limited company, of which THFC are a subsidiary.

Lewis signed over all rights and control to his daughter and it's administered by lawyers.

They must have some pretty damning evidence against Lewis to make this public. Don't think he can just wriggle out of it
They can easily prove he had inside info and passed it along (which is insider trading for him) but that doesn’t necessarily prove the people that he passed it too knew it was inside info which would determine if they would face charges.

If they did or even suspected it was, I hope they get the deserved punishment as well.

I assume Levy will be looking for someone to buyout the Tavistock groups ownership of Enic.
Remember a fair few months ago when it was floated that there was interest in selling a share of Spurs but Levy still remaining in place? That would align with your point, someone buying Lewis' share but Levy keeping his and control.

Don't know why anyone would buy a majority share and let the little fella that running it into the ground continue in place but I'm also not a billionaire...yet!!!!

stevee stevee But doesn't Lewis own the Tavistock group with in turn owns ENIC?
He does, but he's signed out of ownership of THFC.

As far as I understand it anyway.

It's all very complicated, there are more than one "Tottenham" businesses for example.

If he still owns shares , directly or indirectly in THFC, then I suppose it's possible that the assets could be frozen, if it goes that far.

Really need someone with more knowledge than me to chip in.

Anyone ?

I was just wondering if the tavistock group would be banned from owning a PL football team via ENIC as Lewis own's Tavistock, yes it is complicated, I don't pretend to understand it myself.

He no longer has anything to do with the club, in truth he never really had, we were just another investment among hundreds, we just happened to have the highest profile...
But he did at the time of the alleged crimes and the documented change was, to any reasonable person, precipitated by this impending indictment...his day to day executive input, however, is immaterial.

Steve , the crimes date back beyond the handover. It’s not relevant & actually condemning that he chose to do it when he did .
