I've posted plenty of messages on these boards about Levy and his machinations, Joe Lewis was the only man that could have done something about it, he didn't, he was either incapable or neglectful. it's a fault no matter which.
They were in it together, Levy did what Levy does, and Lewis was happy enough to let it slide.
I'm more than happy in my mind to call the whole thing ENIC. I'm also happy in my mind for you to view ENIC and Levy as two separate things in your mind.
Don't give a shit about Lewis and he didn't give one about the club either. He ought to be in prison for taxes in a dozen countries most likely, and at best he let Levy run the club we love into the dirt to his general indifference. I do not know why anyone would carry a torch for him or desire to split hairs about his share of the blame.

But I'm not letting people hid what Levy did behind the ENIC name. It completely hides what he did and give the impression it was ENIC, when it was clearly Levy that was running the club as you admitted, but you seem want to hide it behind a technicality. It's the sort of getting away with shit lawyers feed that help make the world such a shit place to live in, and justice so completely corrupt and out of reach for most people. But allows those with money to get away with stuff they really shouldn't, because of technicalities.
That doesn't sit well with me. If you check on the ENIC out pole, I am firmly in the ENIC out section and it is up to them to change my mind, and I will give them a chance to fix things and see how things go.
But in no way, will I ever let Levcy hide behind ENIC for what he did. The guy was and is a grade A flange fungus of the highest order.

You've been like this pretty much since I supported a couple of things John Thomas said about Levy, insomuch a comment about the article regarding a time when he was quoted speaking about Rangers, you had a go at me then saying I was white knighting and all that stuff, just because I shared a POV that you disagree with, a tad childish if you ask me. Then I state my opinion about Postecoglou and you've been stalking me around the forum like a persistent gnat ever since.

Tbh I think we're kind of arguing semantics at this point. However you try and spin in, Levy was the ringleader at Spurs for 25 years and Joe/the majority of ENIC basically had no input...and that's now changed.
Sure, you can technically argue Levy IS ENIC as he owns 30% or whatever, but Joe was the actual billionaire and majority shareholder - he was the only one capable of ever actually bankrolling Spurs and putting serious investment into the club. Levy's personal wealth is small-change in comparison - hence he was so deeply invested in growing the club (and keeping the investment safe) to feather his own nest.
Levy did some good/great stuff to grow the club then completely shat the bed over the past decade or so, while Joe/ENIC just watched on and didn't care.
The "new" ENIC clearly have different intentions to Joe and clearly want to be more hands on. What remains to be seen is just how ambitious they are and whether they're actually more or less competent at running that club than Levy.
And as shit as Levy has been at times, I'm not even he would've handled the Frank situation quite as badly as Vinai and the board have over the past 2 months (not that I want him back or anything).

We're all blaming Levy and by the way I know he has done a terrible job over the past 6–7 years, but I don't see there being anywhere near the same kind of vim for Vinai, who has essentially replaced Levy. In fact, since Vinai has come in we've got a whole lot worse and now we're in a hole.
