Yeah it was very strange days. They acted as though you don’t get injuries, fatigue, suspensions, loss of form.
I even had people tell me it’s better to stay unbeaten with lots of draws than to lose some but gain more points overall. They would say anything to suit the levy & ENIC agenda. East London is lovely this time of year So why not move there. Our owners are doing things the right way & very moral! The list is endless. They couldn’t have been more wrong!

I doubt it. They put their support of the owners before the success of the football club. Even relegation won’t stop some. They would Rather us be shit every year & way behind our bitter rivals than change ownership. So weird.

I had to leave the Reddit forums, which brought me here, over it. The Reddit fanbase is mostly American though, and their happy clapping culture doesn't allow for any criticism of anything at a club, except for a player that is the lightening rod, flavour of the month for everything bad that's happened.

There's significantly less mentalists here, thankfully. Although, this forum is very culty with managers.

Football has become culty with some fans following a manager or player around. You get fan boys a lot now. Won’t hear a bad word said about their hero.
Anyway, I still think we will stay up because the competition will drop lots of points too. Not because we are good obviously.

There is actually a 'Don Levy' appreciation thread on here somewhere.

People used to fawn over the way he stitched up other clubs in the transfer market like it was some major trophy success.

There were a few people even advocating a statue outside the stadium.

United have Best, Law and Charlton. Woolwich have Henry and Bergkamp
Forest have Brian Clough.....You get the gist

They wanted Daniel Philip Levy.

And then they got all shirty at the suggestion of a cult like following.

It's quite funny looking back.

It's part of this whole instagram/TikTok generation. I'd love Hoeneß here, but if he comes and is crap, I'll be the first to say it.

Eeesh, don't have quite the same confidence I'm afraid. Everyone else is gaining points and we've got 4 in our last 10. We're getting cut adrift,
 
Anyone that supports these greedy cunts must have some financial incentive, no way a fan could still support them. They have systematically taken us from the brink of success, (pulling it away through lack of ambition) to now a place worse than anything from the 90s. Should we get relegated (now looking increasingly likely) they will go down in history as one of our worst ever owners, 26 game changing years and relegation the end result, pathetic.
 
We are essentially left hoping Staveley and her Middle East connected investors buy us out. ENIC have been a fucking shambles.

Still glad they didn't panic in January and sign some useful players. That’s the main thing.
