FWIW which is really not a lot of worth

Eight sports seem built on leveraged bets … include spurs in this now … and their media company is so shite it’s about to get kicked out the Nasdaq

Got spurs written all over it
It's richer than Lewis.

But you're right in the sense that this is not exactly your dream sugar daddy from a financial and substantive credibility perspective.

And as for Earick, I can say with great authority regarding the prospect of being controlled by an American hypebeast Guinness-for-breakfast soccer lover: be careful what you wish for.

This doesn't sound good at all... Levy selling his ENIC stake feels like him sticking two fingers up at the Lewis family. We will now have an entire summer of buy out talk and I guarantee, the men's first team will not be a beneficiary in this power struggle whilst it's in progress... and after it concludes. Can the PL do some fit and proper test on these Eight Sport clowns?

It’s double Lewis which sounds grand

But you like your takeover owners to have billions not on a single digit handle

Is this really that relevant. It’s a minority stake they can’t do jack shit. It’s the Lewis trust that is the make or break for the club. Only thing to me it signifies is Levy really is gone there is not going to be him coming back with investors to buy out the club and the Lewis family might be here for a long time to come.

The most valid point the anti-ENIC-Out people ever had was that the most likely alternatives were worse.

Given they've already tried a full takeover, it's very hard not to believe that's what they're aiming towards when spending a huge amount of money on Levy's stake. And if so, that's incredibly bad news for us as a club.

You don’t know that’s the case - could have been more tension with Levy still floating about threatening legal action

Was just thinking the same earlier and was coming in to post that we really need someone with tens of billions and happy to lose a few. It isnt a game for those single digit billionaires anymore.
