Of course. But there are other factors other than personal greed. Not here of course, maximising their tax free investments are the single objective

Where is the bald mute? The club is a bin fire, booing, no manager, anarchy - SILENCE

What do you plan on doing about it? Other than crying on here in every post you make? Send a strongly written letter with your usual obnoxious insults?

That may do the trick!

Dr Mr Levy.

FUCK YOU AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON. PLEASE LEAVE YA BALD MIDGET CUNT.

Yours,
Zomb.

Personal greed lol

If ENIC were in it for personal greed then they'd be withdrawing funds directly from the club like the Glazers and not-re-investing the money back into it.

The level of delusion and the fantasy talk is hilarious, I must admit - I think some of you whip yourselves up into such an emotional frenzy about these guys that you'll say anything that you think sounds good in your head, top entertainment :D

"Knowing Daniel Levy I am not really surprised that Antonio Conte has left the club. In football you have to be diplomatic and it can end in parting ways if you say what you think," said Gallas.

"I personally feel that many people will have agreed with much of what Antonio Conte said after the draw at Southampton, including myself. Now I feel Tottenham could be in trouble in terms of qualifying for the Champions league. We will see if Daniel was right come the end of the season."

On that angry press conference, he added: "I think his answer, when he gave that interview, I think he gave that answer because people can criticise how he makes the players play - his tactics and system - I think he said something very interesting.

"He said ‘How many managers have managed Tottenham and how many times have Tottenham won the Premier League?’ That is a fact. A lot of different managers have trained the Spurs squads but in the end, they don’t have the results they want to get. That means they have to change something. They have to bring quality players to try and compete, to try and win the Premier League.

"Tottenham is always in the same position fighting for fourth or fifth place. The last time they were close to winning anything was when they went to the Champions League final in 2019. They went to the final, but they didn’t win it. They have finished runners-up once in the last ten years.

"Something has to change in the club for Tottenham to go to the level where they will be very difficult to beat. They have everything there. I’ve been there. They have the facilities - the training ground is just unbelievable - they have the stadium. There is something missing. I think they need to bring in the right players to have a squad that is capable of competing for the Premier League title. It is that simple.

"Sometimes it's difficult for people to hear the truth, because managers are expected to play the role of a diplomat. At the same time, people can blame Conte too because, like I said, it is his system, his tactics and he sets up the team to play in a certain way. I think, in this situation both sides have to take some responsibility."

On what comes next for Tottenham, the former defender says the next permanent manager must learn to manage what chairman Daniel Levy wants as much as his team.

"They have to find a manager that can deal with Daniel Levy!" he said. "The next manager that goes into Tottenham has to accept the situation at the club and, I wonder if the very top managers will. I’m not talking about money, I’m talking about the squad he will give to the next manager. Levy will say ‘that is the squad you will have this season, deal with it.’

"If Tottenham appoint a big manager, he will know after three training sessions that he needs better players. It is that simple. Some managers might think, ‘OK, I’m going to deal with Daniel Levy.’ Daniel Levy is a business guy, so that is the first thing the next manager of Tottenham needs to know."

When asked if he had any run-ins with Levy, Gallas said: "No, I had a good relationship with him. No problems at all."

Perfectly put by Gallas.

Levy and more importantly, his entire model for constructing the squad needs to change

stark considering how many ex players and managers say its on him
Yes but how many don’t say that about him , many , many more
I thought I would save the Levy supporters the trouble

Admittedly they are not forming an orderly queue to endorse him , in fact I’m not sure any ex player or manager has ever said he is doing a great job on the football side of things, at least none that I can think of.
i stand to be corrected

Even the Glazers worked out Woodward was a clown at the football side of things and bombed him out it seems to me . The Glasers are in it for the money , Woodward was good at that , but they realised long term failure will damage the business model.

Levy should be nowhere near the football side of things , not within a thousand miles of it , surely that is abundantly clear to everyone

Lewis should have the cojones to act accordingly

All just my opinion , but that’s how I see it

They know their massive pay day is with an eventual sale , you know , I know it , the guy standing on the street selling merchandise outside the ground knows it, the guy where I park my car on match days knows it.

I think it's pretty much black and white, now mate. After 23 years it fookin well should be, too.

Around 90% of the fanbase ars fed up of being perennial losers and want Levy/ENIC out.

Around 10% support Levy/ENIC first and foremost and want them to stay.

There is no middle ground to talk of.
No see, this is the problem as ever!!

Those 23 years are all cast in one brush for you!

Finishing 2nd in 16/17 and CL final for you as the same as finishing 14th under hoddle or whatever. You just say ‘23 years of failure’ and that’s that.

Of course there’s a middle ground.

If I take a loan out, for an investment opportunity, and secure that loan against my house, does that constitute taking money out of my house?
No, To do that, I would have to re-mortgage it, subsequently owning a smaller percentage of it at a higher monthly cost.

When people say "it could be worse, ENIC could be taking money out of the club" this is technically true. The problem, is that all they want to do, is the minimum amount possible to maintain the clubs value. Considering what has been put in, from outside of the clubs own revenue streams, they are already in a position whereby the clubs value far exceeds what they have spent. It's a self sufficient asset that grows in value along with the rest of the football world. All the need to do now is keep us ticking along, play in Europe most seasons with the odd foray into the CL and they're hunky dory. They aren't going to sell us and cash in as they won't have that security to get finances for their other ventures.

I think there's been moments but, unfortunately those moments haven't produced the silverware to validate Levy and the boards involvement. This has left supporter's feeling that the board are in it for the commercial success and nothing more. Hence the Levy out chants and the negative posts on this forum and elsewhere.
