Well obviously you could care less, you're the one who got all emotional in this debate and started throwing nonsensical arguments at me.

You can call it waffle all you want, it's basic common sense, just because it doesn't align with your doomsday meltdown scenario of what goes on in our club in your warped mind doesn't make it any less true and the funny thing is you haven't even put up a coherent counter argument which tells me yo don't know what you're talking about really and are unable to think objectively.

None of us do, opta don’t release the formula they use to calculate the metric.

Plenty of people read the blurb and take on face value then claim to understand it.

Then again, as an expert on football front office workings, they probably shared the formula with you so you can surely explain it

Thought you did something there didn't you 😆

But we do win awards for, being green and environmentally friendly, which is more important than on field success right?

100%. It’s probably one of the most important issues of our time.

Fully expect a new song to be heard at the weekend.

🎶 My eyes have seen the glory of a carbon neutral Tottenham Hotspur stadium
And the spurs go recycling on 🎶

So proud of our club right now.

Why do people feel the need to take any positive news story about the club and use it to have a pop at the club they say they support?

Whilst everyone understands that stuff like ecological awards, having a nice pitch, signing agreements with F1, summer tours, etc aren’t the most important things we could be celebrating, they are still positive things.

I just don’t know why we don’t leave the role of being arsey sarcastic cunts to oppo fans and actually give credit to the club when they do something well.

Some folk have a weird sense of what the word supporter means.

Very easy position to take when you're constantly throwing jibes at your own club, it means you can cope better when the inevitable happens or when the club are in a perceived bad moment so you can take the 'I told you so' stance, personally I think it's a bit weak minded and pathetic but that's just me...

Nail on head with the last line btw - we're actually at a stage now of being ridiculed for being positive about your own club, Jesus wept.

Surely you can see the point they are making is that the club’s priorities lie in the wrong places and not enough on the football team?

They support the football team and feel Levy and the board have success in their other priorities but not the football team.

In this current moment of chaos in the football operations, anyone arguing the toss against that, doesn’t really have a leg to stand on.

Let’s see if Levy has what it takes to prove them wrong in the future.

No I can’t see the point.

If anyone thinks that Levy, or ENIC as a whole, takes winning a green award or securing a Beyoncé concert as priorities over the football team, they need fucking sectioned.

I’ve very little interest in these awards and whilst I think they are a positive thing, I’ve no appetite to celebrate them. But I’ve certainly not got the appetite to use them as a weapon against the club I support. But as I get to know more about people on here, I get less surprised that others do.

You see any evidence in the chaos of our football operations to say that Levy has been putting enough emphasis on it as av priority?

If the current situation is what he produces by giving it his full focus and priority, that might be even worse.

And tbh most people are just making jokes about it because they are pissed off and don’t know what else they can do. Being a fan is a powerless state.
Not sure they should be sectioned for that.

We’ll have to disagree then. I think we have plenty of oppo fans taking pops at us without doing it ourselves.

Just don’t get the self hating supporter thing. Doesn’t make sense to me. But if you and others get something out of taking the piss out of the club, crack on.

Being able to take a joke takes some of the impact out of other teams making the joke
Yeah I get that. Self deprecating is fine when defending against those perceived to be against you.

But when it’s constant jibes from people who say they support the club, it gets old quickly. And I’m bored of it. Whilst it’s peoples right to post what they want, it’s my right to call cunts out for it.
