Yes i'd accept it. Its not ideal but nothing about top level football is anymore. I think the only way the league becomes fairer is either most or none of the prem have these types of owners. I just want rid of Levy and ENIC at this point and i want to see us signing great players again.
Kin hell.

The only royalty I'd accept is His Royal Highness, Prince Akeem Joffer. The Crown Prince of Zamunda.

He famously said on TV, “I’m staying”.

He did refuse to sign. He certainly put up barriers to being sold.

Judas.

In hindsight perhaps he was a good judge of character and saw through ENIC’s bluff and changed his mind on staying.

My mates Dad knew of Levy through shared business interests in 2000…. We were all chuffed with the takeover, he laughed and said they’re bastards and won’t put a penny in. He still reminds us of that insight, even now

I wouldn’t give Sol that much credit. He saw a team winning stuff whilst we struggled and didn’t have to move house to join the scum. The Bosman ruling meant that he commanded an enormous wage at Woolwich due to no transfer fee and they needed to rebuild their back line. It would have taken an Abramovich-type spender to keep him at Spurs spunking tons of cash (his rumoured demands were totally unrealistic for any normal club to meet: massive salary, could leave within one year if we didn’t get into the Champions League or something like that).

Marriage of convenience - even if he did fuck us over. He wouldn’t have known too much about ENIC/Levy.

He probably didn’t even care about ENIC/Levy once he’d decided to do the dirty.

>me hearing Donna Cullen is sticking her oar in and suggesting Rodgers

Sick to the back teeth of all of them. A fish rots from the head, and I pray for the day we get new owners and these quasi Apprentice candidates are clearing out their desks into cardboard boxes.

Was jesting. Agree, he was and still is a massive cunt. I saw the prick in my local coffee shop a few months ago and bottled saying anything

Genuine question.

Not one I have a solid answer for at this stage of their clusterfuck ownership atm but

Would you take woolwich winning the league if it mean ENIC also sold up?
Easy for me... Yes.

Although it gives them another title, it gives us a chance at one or more if the right ownership comes in.
