Great line Lenny.
Keep up the good work.

What Kool Aid?
I am so confused by the way people engage on here.

Make it a double Dudu.I guess it takes one to know one.
Congrats on being my first ignore.
It's the poor manager that is going to bare the brunt of these ridiculous expectations aswell.Shocking, considering the new stadium was supposed to move us forward, not backwards. (What a con that was)
Shocking, but sadly, also true
Seriously ? This is what worries me about some of our fans expectations this season.
Do you realise how many average footballers we have in not just our squad but our first 11. We have a lot of work to do to get better quality in.
We finished 8th last season and that was with Harry Kanes goals.
You need to accept reality. We aren't that team any more. We have dropped down a couple of levels. 7th 8th 9th 10th is where we will be mixing it this season
I disagree with this.Seriously ? This is what worries me about some of our fans expectations this season.

With poch we jumped from finishing 6th the season before to finishing 5th in his first season and people wanted him out before Xmas. In a far less competitive league.
The landscape has changed somewhat since then. And we are in a huge transition of players and tactics this pre season.
But IMO our fanbase is full of loons. I can’t say morons as that upsets people on here.
Actually fuck it. It’s full of deluded morons.
We have had two of the most prolific strikers in premier league history. We need to replace them both soon.
The deluded see it as being easy. With money it’s easier - see Haaland. But that’s not our model.
Generally speaking most clubs find it very hard to replace goalscorers straight away. Let’s see how Danny boy does.
I disagree with this.
Apart from City; Spurs can compete with everyone else if Kane stays and two new centre backs with quality are recruited.

Midfield and forward areas are now balanced and strong.I agree with this.
I don't see that many average players in our starting 11 as it stands right now.
Centre backs , left back and right back and a creative midfielder. Basically half a team, and that's hoping our keeper is decent. And a big IF Harry stays ..........that's a lot of work to get done in one window, is it not ?I disagree with this.

You lost me with " Davies and Royal are decent enough "Midfield and forward areas are now balanced and strong.
Defence is still up in the air.
I'm not a fan of Romero and don't buy the theory that we only need to buy a defensive partner for him.
Porro is good going forward and Udogie seems to have the potential to match up with him down the left.
Davies and Royal are decent enough defensive full backs in a back 4.
I'm concerned Spurs will retain Dier as a starting player which is just no longer acceptable.
As a squad player; fair enough. Even then I'd only want it for a season or two at most.
Spurs need two new centre backs.
Neither Romero or Dier are good enough for different reasons.

If Levy wants Harry Kane to stay; he has to stay.Centre backs , left back and right back and a creative midfielder. Basically half a team, and that's hoping our keeper is decent. And a big IF Harry stays ..........that's a lot of work to get done in one window, is it not ?
What's the yellowcard for Lenny?
You've always seemed like I nice boy to me. Have the Levy Thought Police been at work again or have I missed something?
Vertonghen didn't ever run around making pointless, reckless tackles or getting himself sent off in key fixtures.I think, giving Romero a better partner will bring out the best in him. Super Jan was deemed not good enough by many Spurs fans until we found him a suitable partner and I think this goes for many CBs.

Romero is selfish and every bit as unprofessional as N'dombele as far as I'm concerned.
His attitude and application is not good enough for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and somebody should have told him this a while ago.
I couldn't care less about this player.
Levy cocksucking Getaspo cunts imbeciles rallied together like bunch of limp wristed Alan Carr/Larry Grayson/Phill "grooming" Schofield bum bandit tropadours.
Free speech will not be stopped. The war goes on till the Enic arse lickers are driven out.
(Post in clutter , must be that windy woke geezer moderator)

Be fair! He’s just a neutral who is happy with levy getting a pay rise after an awful performance last season. Not biased at all!Great line Lenny.
Keep up the good work.

5th without Kane I feel is very optimistic but at least he is being honest about what he thinks. Unlike some who support levy/enic & say it’s a great window. Disagree with posters saying we need more. Then when pinned down to where they think we will finish they say 6th. Shows how low their bar is now. More than happy with 6th. Don’t want us to get more in to improve on that. Happy with Woolwich ahead of us. Why would you not want ‘more in’ & for us to finish higher than 6th & above Woolwich?!!Seriously ? This is what worries me about some of our fans expectations this season.
