What Kool Aid?

I am so confused by the way people engage on here.
You’ll get used to it. There’s a few obvious arseholes that you can bang on ignore straight away. You’ve had a good start with your first one. You do have to watch for the ones who seem like they have good faith intentions to begin with. They are the passive aggressive sleeper cell on here, lying, twisting and resorting to utter bullshit when they get called out on formerly posted bullshit.

You don’t strike me as a simple man. I’m sure you’ve sussed this out for yourself. Keep posting as you are, as not everyone is a complete thundercunt. I am a bit, but that’s not the point.

Be fair! He’s just a neutral who is happy with levy getting a pay rise after an awful performance last season. Not biased at all!

Scott, you seem very, very obsessed about my views on Daniel Levy's pay rise. Have you thought that maybe some people just aren't as invested in this as you are. I truly could not care less about it.

ENIC have had a shit few years, they had some great years before that, and some shit years before that. I have no ill will towards them whatsoever and whilst I would welcome the right new owners with open arms, I am more than happy to see what this next chapter brings for the club with Munn and Ange as part of the setup.

Now if you could please find someone else's opinion to obsess about, it would be greatly appreciated.

That’s kind of the point that after an awful season you don’t care about the chairman getting a pay rise. He can mess up our team & season, go through 3 managers & cost us a fortune & then be rewarded with a pay rise. You have no issue with that. So it just tells me you are a fan of his or why else would you be good with him being rewarded for a terrible performance last season.
Anyway we have done it to death. We ain’t going to change each others mind. So I agree let’s leave it now. I won’t mention you again or speak to you. Hopefully you’ll do the same. G’day!

Don’t get me wrong I would cheer if Lewis/Levy died tomorrow so absolutely not a blind follower, but i actually trust them to invest 30M to grow revenue accordingly.
This is what I was talking about the other day.

A typical Zomb post,.

Forthright, honest opinion, doesn't pull punches.
Equally, no lies, no twisting and no BS.

I don't agree with wishing death on anyone though......... well almost no one.

To be clear, I don’t trust them at all to
Invest 30m on a good player but 30M to make 20M profit on infrastructure or commercial, that’s their sweet spot

Seriously ? This is what worries me about some of our fans expectations this season.
Do you realise how many average footballers we have in not just our squad but our first 11. We have a lot of work to do to get better quality in.
We finished 8th last season and that was with Harry Kanes goals.
You need to accept reality. We aren't that team any more. We have dropped down a couple of levels. 7th 8th 9th 10th is where we will be mixing it this season

Every season the top four looked nailed on at the start of the season and invariably at least one stumbles. Spurs have the players that got into Champion's League with Conte and have made some nice additions. Teams may not be prepared for Postecoglou's new system and I wouldn't be surprised if first time through the league they surprise people. I know everyone says they'll lose at first until the system is in place, but I think it is more likely they will start strong and fade in the 2nd half. But I don't see worse than 6th and, if Kane stays, there's always a chance at 4th. I'm the most negative person about Postecoglou on here, apparently, but it is very possible I'm very wrong. No law against hope.

No defending this. What we have served up football wise over 4 years and in the middle of a cost of living crisis . Disgusting.

You try and be positive, fresh start, Postecoglou etc but they just wont let you, its in their DNA to rinse every last penny from everything. Still i'm sure this means we can afford another 4 or 5 top quality players rather than cheapos, freebies and loans right?

That’s what’s so galling. They demand fans pay premium the biggest prices probably in Europe for match day but when it comes to players they go all cheap. If they pushed the boat out you could say ok that’s fine we pay for ambition or if they lower the prices to match the clubs status and operations but the coldness of how they operate gives you all the warmth of a Russian winter.
