Both ST and tickets are higher than anyone else. Why are u defending this shit? It’s disgusting. The extra 2M they’ve nicked through this is immaterial

I haven't said anything about season tickets?

I was talking about the price hike for the match day tickets, it's just basic inflation and they were always bound to increase, look at the behaviour of other clubs' in relation to their match day tickets.

You literally just said ‘The highest prices being the season ticket prices...’. I was pointing out that both ST and stand-alone tickets are the highest in the league
With regards to Other clubs, they do not have the same pricing baseline as we do. There is a difference. The bald cunt has also bungled the last few seasons and due to the scumbags complete ineptitude, the club is a rudderless mess so he has no right to charge more. They should really offer partial refunds to ST holders out of the 5Bn paper equity they’ve accumulated

Mate, if you want to 'get it' try asking questions and engaging in a good-faith discussion about it.
What's to discuss - somebody posted a huge list.
how many other clubs sack their managers at half time? Thats a joke, no wonder we get laughed at.

After covid, the villa game where Levy charged a ridiculous amount for match tickets and then stuck the fans in the upper tier to maximise advertising revenue. Tottenham were the only club to do this whilst everyone else charged a lot less.

Discuss this and then move on to the other 18 points the other poster has on that list.

This is what I originally said which you took exception to:

Ticket prices were always going to increase, they've been frozen in the last 2 years as well as freezing the St prices this year AND every other Prem team have raised there's so it was bound to happen.

The conversation is literally about match day prices, not ST prices.

All the other clubs that win things you mean?........

:kanehand:

Well seeing as the price increase is for this up and coming season I don't know how those other clubs have managed to see into the future and know they're winning something :p

Regardless of that, a load of clubs increased their season ticket prices for this year as well.

They are interchangeable

The point is you are defending this increase and I can only assume this is some sort of sick joke, you deranged pervert.

I mean I'm literally telling you how basic economics work.

I think the price hikes are disgusting, prices in football in general is excessive anyway which is a massive part of a reason why I stopped going to games in the first place...but come on you can't expect clubs to stand still and not get in line with inflation.

I work in Finance, i understand economics and Yes I absolutely do not expect us to scrape an extra couple of million by increasing ticket pricing. It adds nothing to the top or bottom line in the grand scheme of things and the optics are absolutely terrible for so many reasons.

I don't hate Levy, I do think he's made some decisions that make him seem incompetent though, he's some that I am quoting from another forum.

1. Sacks Jol at half time for ramos
2. Sacks Redknapp for AVB
3. Tries to move spurs to Stratford
4. Tries to help kill competitive football with the ESL
5. Refuses to back Poch and his painful rebuild
6. Sacks Poch, hires Jose to win trophies
7. Sacks Jose a few days before a cup final
8. Spends 72 days hiring Nuno after promising a return to spurs DNA
9. Sacks Nuno, hires a win now manager in conte and gives him a project budget
10. Sacks conte, hires conte assistant, sacks the assistant then hires the assistant’s assistant
11. Hires a dof under investigation for fraud. Dof gets banned from football whilst in role
12. Sells berbatov and replaces him by loaning Frazier Campbell
13. Gives a title challenging rednapp team Saha and Ryan Nelson for the final push
14. Can’t seem to find anyone to pay for naming rights
15. Sacks AVB, hires Tim f a cking sherwood
16. Pays himself the highest chairman wage in the league as he raises the season ticket prices to the highest in Europe
17. Wins one trophy in 23 years
18. On the subject of kane..... Decides to hold him hostage (Granted that's his brothers fault too ) but then decides not to build a decent team around one of the world's best CFs for the past 7-8 years -diamondlights
19. manages to loan Doherty to Atletico Madrid even though we had too many loans and therefore had to pay up Dohertys contract and watch him go on a free - striketeam
20. Didn’t sign a single player for nearly two years whilst we were in the champions league
21. Tried to furlough non playing staff through covid
22. Wasting the world record fee he got for Bale
23. The f a cking cheese room fiasco

Can you imagine how quickly Daniel Levy would have sacked Daniel Levy.

So true. Why he hasn’t appointed a CEO I have no idea. Great at making money and investing, terrible chief exec. Know your place Levy

He comes across as a power hungry micro managing type of boss.
Although his obvious man crush on Mourinho was very apparent - that must have been a weird time for everyone at the club.

But any half decent CEO would not tolerate being micro managed, just say fuck this shit, manoeuvre an exit and walk within a few months taking a payoff for their troubles.

There were people coming on here saying they would happily pay more!!

But let’s be honest Spurs are more of a club for the rich and the haves rather than the have nots.

Plus the more our international fanbase grows the higher those prices will get.

I think the only time we will see a guaranteed drop off in pricing is for ECL games. And majority of fans don’t want us to be in the ECL either which is ironic.

Maybe the early rounds of domestic cups if lower league. But by QF stage it’s back to normal pricing.

Just keep digging deeper in those pockets. Levy knows he’s got the fanbase in the palm of his hand. Football fans have to be the most loyal clients in the world?
