You could go to the opera for that....and have enough left over for a couple of sherry's and a prawn sandwich.

:pochsmirk:
Covent Garden prices for Opera , cheapest £64 , top price stalls £325
General Admission prices Spurs Cat A games, cheapest £65 , top price £103 .
Are you taking you own sherry and sandwiches.

PS And I doubt any performers at Covent Garden are earning £10 million per year , Harry get you ballet shoes on.

Hmm not really, it was just a poor joke but shows how the working class sport is almost as costly as going to the opera.

Not sure why I'm having to explain this, thought it was bloody obvious.

Excuse me. I was posting to Muckleflugga .

When I want you to stick your beak in, I'll let you know.

But for the record, it was...

And no, it's not almost as costly as going to the opera. Sort your maths out, muldoon.

Ha, you're such a cunt!

Yay, turns out going to see Spurs isn't necessarily as expensive as going to the opera in Covent Garden. We should be grateful.

Not been in this thread for months. Too depressing. However I am surprised at the overwhelming majority of posters in the Kane thread supporting finance over Glory. This is the fundamental criticism of ENIC. So why are none of the reverent anti ENIC/Levy posters not in that thread commenting that Levy should keep Kane for another year and not choose finance over the best player the club has.
Instead the anti Levy posters are going on about ticket prices. Prices are going up everywhere and if you do not like it do not pay it.
Surely selling Kane should bring criticism of ENIC/Levy which is far more important than ticket prices.
