No rule, it's just asking you to follow up on an opinion but it's cool you answered it in the end anyway.

Raphinia is definitely gettable (but Richard Arlison Richard Arlison doesn't rate him for some bizarre reason so you're gonna have to fight it out with him whether he's established or a star or whatever or not), not sure Sane is and why he's want to leave Bayern for Spurs and Felix is trash.
Are Raphinha's wage demands feasible for us? I'd imagine he's on a lot of money at Barca, he'd probably be our highest earner here on his current wages.

I'd take him in a hearbeat, I think he's good. If not I don't mind Chiesa either.

So I doubt this guy knows what he’s saying is true but doesn’t stop it being true of everything this fanbase feels about the economic model Levy has operated for years now.

If Isak ends up being financially feasible for the gooners after finishing second and spending 100m plus on Rice, they have overtaken us again and become a bigger club.

We were ahead of them. We had more revenue than them.

There is no hiding from it anymore.

Spot on.

They've struck while the iron was hot for them so to speak whereas we never capitalised on the moment under Poch.

Raphina or Hudson-Odoi?

Appreciate they’re opposite sides, but if we moved other players around.

Exactly what I’m saying.

They have shown they have the intent to do those deals and the ability to pull them off.

Ange is in such a difficult position this summer. He nailed it with VDV and Vicario but he’s got a fanbase that has seen countless signings from that same level not work out to be anything other than average and they are sick of average.

Doesn’t mean he can’t pull off a forward version of VDV but the fan sentiment isn’t going to be good.

Not sure I 100% agree when it comes to forwards.

They still don't have a decent one after how long?

Overpaying for Haavertz is not the same as challenging other teams for a frontman like Isak.

Rice remains an outlier for them and they are still likely to finish in an identical position with an identical amount of silverware as last year.

Also, I know he’s had a strange few years, but I do rate Felix. He’s just part of the Athletico / Barca circus.

There’s a number of players that have been ruined (not that they necessarily mind) by that financial shit show.

He went to Chelsea and offered fuck all just like he's doing at Barcelona, he can't even get into the team now lol

The last point is a fair one.

But the point stands that their ability to sign Rice makes Isak a more realistic proposition than any notion we might. No matter how perfect he’d be for what we need.

Raphinha is reportedly 70m and on 250k pw.

Would be our biggest signing in history and also help them get Nico Williams who is younger and better.

forget my opinions on him as a player, I just can’t see it ever being a signing we’d make.

I don't see us breaking the wage structure for him, or paying that much given his age.

Which is why I'd go for Chiesa. He's in the last year of his deal and the Paratici connection might help us. It seems like the type of player we'd go for.

I think we're a good winger away from being a top 4 side, regardless of what other teams do. 71 points is usually enough to get it. Add some squad depth and we should be getting it next season.

Chiesa is signing a new contract I think

Not sure, he's on around £250k a week, this is the question that some people have been asking about pushing the boat out.
