Good to see Ian Wright on MotD last night ( a gooner, yes, but one most of us respect)
commenting that all our previous managers havent been backed by Levy. Says he needs to change his ways and seriously back Ange if we are to progress.
Good stuff.
 
Makes me laugh how people here talk in definite terms.
Like they actually know who a manager did and didn't want.
It's even funnier when people use it to further their own agenda. Either in support of a coach or against the chairman.

The only thing I'm sure of, is no one on here knows a fucking thing about the real inner workings of the club.
 
If we magically found the money to pay a very basic, just good enough bench left winger the same amount as most teams pay their starter or star, while still going out and signing two star players as a striker and RW, and at least one star cm (either in the Madison mold or 6 mold, or both), and some competition for LCB, LB, RB, then sure. Nothing wrong with bringing Werner back.

But what are the fucking chances all the above happens?

I really am fed up.

Stats show that Werner created chances and put good crosses in but with Son up front then he is not big enough to head them in and it only left Johnson coming in from the right. Werner’s finishing is crap and at his age not likely to improve. . If Son is to continue up front then I do not want Werner back. However if we are going to invest in a good Front man then presumably Son will start on the left and Werner will be back up. Not sure where Solomon fits in when fit.
So for me whether we should go for Werner hinges on us spending on a good front man.
