Sadly I do.
I went to watch Smile 2 the other night and realised I’d spent more on an ice blast and some popcorn than I did on the ticket.
I get a discount but still, what a fucking sucker. The popcorn was shit too, when I ask for sweet and salty actually fucking mix it you willies, I don’t just want the top half being salty and the bottom being sweet.
LevyWorld would probably be charging me for toilet breaks, an extra charge if I wanted a box for my popcorn…

So maybe 250k members, but offer all of them the chance to buy a season ticket and most wouldn't and don't want one.. They just want to go to the odd game.
It’s the one hotspur plus. Gives you the chance to get tickets one day early. Shows why that’s a total nightmare. Think they release 1000??
But even if only 2% of them want or would take up the offer of a season ticket that’s still more than our current churn rate. 1% is probably somewhere near that churn I think.
It’s a fucking impressive number of paid up members to buy 7000 tickets per premier league game.
I don’t think people realise just how popular we are now.

Not sure Levy would be overjoyed at this. If I owned a club (and wanted to get rich off the back of it), the last thing I’d want is season ticket holders. Generally locals, with knowledge of places to go to eat and drink before and after the match, rather than using the stadium outlets. If they were to do the SkyWalk or buy merch, they’ll do it maybe once a season. Whereas if the seat they have bought is used by twenty different people a season, that’s a load more “experiences” and a fuck tonne more merch being purchased.
Obviously, atmosphere probably takes a hit, but the financial difference between filling your stadium with season tickets or day trippers is enormous.
I don’t know if we have reduced the number of ST holders the last few years?
And we are seeing him manipulating our future crowd with the lack of OAP concessions if they do want to reduce the amount of ST holders.
But when you have crazy demand and you want to fill up your £700 seats it’s handy to be able to tell people your chances of getting a ST are minimal.
