Why is it gibberish? He's just relating a bizarre event that happened that would never, ever have happened at any other serious football club

Interesting how Lloris joins the ever growing list of ex coaches/ players on the end of personal abuse from our fans once they start exposing Levy though.

This is why so many of us think there's a cult like status around the fella. A little bit of criticism and they form a protective cocoon around him and get the knives out for the culprit involved. Whoever the culprit.

Jeez man, we could put out a full team of them now, with a full bench and Poch as manager, Conte as his assistant, and a back room staff of Mourinho, Ramos and Pleaty.

A few very famous ex players of ours have indicated privately how they are disappointed with the direction the club is going under him. It’s a widely held view now that we aren’t interested in doing as much as we can to win things. I thought it interesting when Ange was asked because when you watch his answer, he doesn’t exactly come across as convinced, more it’s just a diplomatic answer. I suspect once he works it out like Conte and those before him, it will be the end of him too. No matter what people think of him as a coach, he’s as much of a competitor as our previous managers who finally had enough like Conte, Poch etc.

They’re always fighting too strong of a tide.

I think where Postacoglou and the likes of Mourinho/Conte differ towards Levy is that AP is far, far more willing to build a side which includes youngsters and young promise which is music to DL's ears for so many financial reason. The only problem with that is "you'll never win anything with kids"!!

Ange is of a different breed IMO, you can see it...don't think we have had a manager this determined to win something with us and turn the tide of our club around as much as him before.

I suspect eventually he will leave obviously but not before fighting tooth and nail to turn the fortunes of this club around.

Which is why I find the Ange out crowd really stupid because you're directly supporting this chairman and justifying this board's way of managing the club by getting yet another manager out prematurely and a manager who actually wanted to stick around and work with ENIC, you can't support ENIC out and want the manager gone, it's a just a massive contradiction.

I understand my lighthearted jibes at players are not for everyone. I actually think a lot of disdain is proven to be fair as Ange has binned all of the players that used to drive me crazy. There is no-one in the current squad I have no time for. I am frustrated Berg is getting game time ahead of other home grown yoots but I can see the promise and potential.

And point proven re: your response above. You offer no objective, insights on football matters

He’s the most influential person at the club we all love that’s why and has overseen 25 years of failure on the pitch (trophy wise). He’s done some great stuff commercially and has done fairly well from a football perspective but lacks the bravery to turn the dial
