I think some people just can't bring themselves to admit they've been so wrong about something for so long.

Having spent years on this platform arguing with and ridiculing me and other critics who've seen through the scam they just haven't got the fucking balls to hold their hands up and say "guys, you were right after all"

If they did, they'd get more respect.

I’m still down as “In” because there isn’t an option of “I couldn’t care less”.

If Levy were to leave tomorrow, or ENIC were to sell up tomorrow, I doubt it would make a huge difference. Unless we got someone with more money than MBS and more interest in football than Mansour (and I doubt that person or organisation exists) and FFP / PSR disappears, we will still be hovering around the third to sixth biggest club in the country.

Since we built the stadium, we have been spending good levels of money. Obviously, who we’ve spent on can be questioned. That buck stops with Lange, Munn and Ange.

However, yes, Levy was the man employing these people, so if this is the reason for him to go, I’m all for it. If we have a takeover bid from the above semi mythical individual.

But, if he does, there needs to be a clean sweep from Levy down. Directors, manager, coaches, scouts and players. Would take years to sort that shit out. And it might not even work.

Or do we carry on and hope we strike gold at some point? I don’t know. Nobody on here does. But delusion doesn’t come into it. Just turns out that the decision is, in reality, tougher than typing Levy Out into a forum post.

It would very likely be to someone of this level. The time and money it’s going to take to get us from 5th/6th to 1st/2nd is scary. Years and hundreds of millions. Nobody in their right mind is going to take that on, except loonies like Ashley or Moshiri. It’s a cycle we are four or five years into under Levy and ENIC and are struggling like fuck to make up the gap, even with the money we are spending. Do we want to press the reset button again with a new owner, infrastructure, staff and squad?

Personally, I’d like Levy to be public about the financial health or otherwise of the club. I’d like our scouting system to be burned to the ground, from Lange down. I’d like us to start to sign proven players for the first team squad, as we should have the money to do so (thanks to the go karts). I’d like us to hire the very best leadership and staff for our youth setup to ensure a flow of talent into the senior squad. And pay them millions to do this.

Would Levy sanction all that? If not, find me someone who will and I’ll change my vote and protest my arse off. But I’d do so with the thought in the back of my mind that the last four or five years have been a waste of time for everyone.

If he doesn't relinquish it, it's not a cash cow. The owners haven't taken a dividend for about 15 years, the big pay off comes when they sell.

These are very fair points tbh. A lot of the levy out crowd are levy out at all costs, but we could always end up an Everton after.

I'm not levy in by any means, but it seems that there's this dreamland, especially what I see online that we would be the next man city if he sold up. It's very possible it wouldn't end up that way.

It’s more likely than not that things would get worse or no better. What percentage of takeovers lead to quick and thereafter, sustained, success? It’s going to be a small number. And smaller now with the fiscal rules being as stringent as they are.

Again, if someone comes in with the will and the cash, sign me up today.
 
levy himself must be sick of it. he cant get it right, i think he is trying his best but the facts speak for themselves. hes seen as a joke in football. hes at that level of wealth where more money is just figures on a screen its not going to change his life, his lifestyle isnt changing.
