ENIC In or ENIC Out

In short:in the PL, before ENIC we were a bottom half club, post ENIC a top half club. Results on the pitch continually improved.

The wealth has primarily gone to the club. Levy’s wealth is almost entirely bound up in the value of the club.

Sounds like you have invested badly. Plenty of other investments you can make if you’re not happy.

Showing us all a graph proudly boasting of winning nothing at all. Super.

If that graph is meant to make me grateful for midtable mediocrity I'd appreciate it if our beloved chairman started pricing my season ticket as such.

Did I miss something, are you happy with mid table with the ridiculous ticket prices, the ridiculous jersey prices and the cheap under 19 squad we have? And please don't even mention, "The Rebuild". Villa have been relegated, stayed down for 2 or 3 seasons, came back up and are sitting way above us with a better squad and a better manager. So much for you stats.
Jersey prices ?

Many things to say. First the question is, has there been progress on the pitch?

And that answers the questions. Yes there has been.

If midtable mediocrity is a concern then no one under the age of 45 has ever had it so good in the league as the last 15 years under Levy.

If you want to consider trophies then can you first respond to the direct claim in the article about the concentration of trophies?

Call it what you want. Doesn't make it any cheaper.

I bet you probably employed to turn the volume at Home Games so people can't hear the 'LEVY OUT ' chants. Only reason I can see for you standing up for him. Else you could be Family, Friend, Lover......I don't know
Our shirts cost £29.99 in 1992. In 2025 pounds that’s about £80. The current shirt costs £95.

Given the huge increase in demand since 1992, that’s not a huge increase in shirt prices in real terms.

You’re just angry at inflation. You can’t buy a house for £50k either.

How about Levy is the Pele of........

Levy is Anti-football. How could you still justify what he has done. I have to ask.

Are you perhaps getting free season tickets and free Vegan Veggie Burgers for the games or something?
That Pele quote was stupid certainly.

Levy isn’t anti-football, that’s hyperbolic bullshit.

He’s been in charge of the club during a period where it’s factually been harder than ever to win and has got us to the stage where we are infra-structurally set for decades to come.

But, the owners are falling short of getting us success on the pitch, so it’s time to go.

Stuff doesn’t have to be black and white. Unless you post on here, by the looks of things.

It’s trash. Levy the business man, we should be grateful. Even though it’s us paying for the the stadium that’s gonna make him rich one day. We should be grateful we’ve gone from cup kings to banter club who “get battered everywhere they go.”

100%

Never invested a penny and made millions off hard-working fans. Delivered nothing in exchange.

He will sell it to another likeminded loser who is good with dehumanizing fans in their spreadsheet

Fuck me friend since we last won a trophy Leicester have won two, and both of them more prestigious than anything we've won in 34 years. Wigan have won one. Swansea city have won one. Portsmouth have too. And Birmingham City.

These are not teams on our level. It's all fucking excuses. ENIC can't hide behind "winning is hard" forever.

We’ve reached 13 semi finals since ENIC took over.

We reached 14 in the 25 years before ENIC.

Don’t talk to me about teams that are now in lower leagues like it’s evidence for your position. It shows that the odd trophy is a poor measure of on field success.

If we're claiming 13 semi finals being some sort of success then we're really really scraping the barrel.

You're all over the place. First of all not winning trophies is ok because only the elite wins them. Now its not even a measure of success at all.

We're just a perennial mid table side which doesnt win trophies but we pay more than anyone except the Goons for our tickets.

You accept this mediocrity? Fine.

Just accept that some of us are getting bored of paying for champagne and getting Happy Shopper Cider.

Merch has always been pricey. But apply the math to season ticket prices over an equivalent duration and you'll find a man who prioritises revenue growth over fan accessibility.

Now chart our 'progress' regarding PL results and you'll notice we're just as inconsistent as the 2005 - 2010 period. The difference is that back then there was progress because we ultimately qualified for the CL for the first time. But this past five years has been a period of instability, which raises concerns about long-term planning and squad depth, among other issues.

Time marches on. Other clubs are edging to take our place. The football is atrophying under this chairman and that is the main fact that a great many fans wish to address. Don't be surprised to see the word 'cunt' flying around. You stand still on the pitch, the opposition scores the goal and the fans get mad. Likewise in the planning.

You can argue about the price of merch, or laud Levy's supposed successes but that has no bearing on the present or the future. He's not shitting. He needs to get off the pot.
