Yeah I get where you coming from but then making ordinary working class employees redundant to save 1 weeks of rashfords salary doesn’t sit great with me
“Spurs sparked outrage two weeks ago when they announced plans to seek funding from the government’s coronavirus job retention scheme and furlough their non-playing staff.”

Don’t forget levy & the furlough stuff! He’s just as greedy & tight as jimmy!

Imagine if the furlough scheme was still available; Danny would be claiming half the first team’s wages due to being unable to work because of “ an ongoing medical situation “ .

Loads of people ( who know more about this than me ) are always telling us the club is run in an exemplary way ; we just don’t win anything.

It’s easy for them to say ; but it hurts incredibly to have to hear them say it.

We could have been Everton for the past twenty years , I get that ; but we’re supposed to be grateful we weren’t.

I don’t know what the answer is .

Edit: I DO know what the answer is ; but short of a dodgy helicopter ( god forbid) ; it ain’t happening.

I did apologise for the helicopter thing .) .
Ignore them! They think it’s exemplary to want to join the super league, furlough staff, rip off fans, try to move your team to the other side of London, punish life long OAP supporters, chairman to give themselves pay rises & bonuses, sell your superstars to avoid matching their ambition, sack managers at half time, change manager every season etc

Yeah I think they are trying to not alienate people ‘who want change’ but are not ‘enic/levy out’. Even though their main goal seems to be to remove levy & ideally for Enic to sell up.
Their goals have flipped. Just two weeks ago, they stated on the twitter Space the goal was change, not necessarily Levy/ENIC to leave.

Guess the coat hangers got them to change their minds over that.

After reading the BBC article, it's the main point imo for those who like the psychology of management : the fact that Daniel Levy surrounds himself with loyalists, doesn't try to hire people with complementary soft skills and is a poor communicator, will never be a good foundation for an organisation aimed for success, whatever the field, industry.
It's been a suspicion before those anonymous insider sources confirmed it. That BBC article is the nail in the coffin, bullseye with that main point for the ENIC era and DL as a chairman.

Surely the point being made is that if Levy continues in his role, why would increased revenues mean a change in M.O?

There is nothing to suggest he would do anything different I.e. continue to maximise dividends for shareholders with the soccer side of the business still run on a tight budget for salaries, recruitment policy etc.

Agree. He needs to be flushed with the rest of the turds. The club is crying out for a fresh approach. It’s so stale.

I’m sure fans of those clubs would say there’s no question which club is most prolific at bottling the big event.

All those occasions to me speak to the mentality of the club. The inability to win a big game under pressure, to beat a big club late in a tournament with it all on the line, this is a mentality that we have never had. Apart from one CL run, under the mentality of a manager who the chairman decided needed sacking, the lack of composure and mental toughness is pervasive.

That manager was the one who bottled a decent number of those semi-finals and one pretty big final.

I mean you still said it though.

One thing the mega Levy outers have in common... all happy to wish death upon people so their team can win a football trophy.

Disgusting.

I notice that this conveniently 'dropped' this morning....
...does this mean the march is cancelled then??
Fair play. They're trying every trick in the bag to dilute and dampen down any enthusiasm for the protests and Levy out sentiment 😆

Leaks about a possible buy out.

BBC quoting 'anonymous sources' from within the club telling us how hard Daniel is working behind the scenes blah blah blah blah

News that Daniel is hurting as he heroically sits through the chanting

I’m sure fans of those clubs countries would say there’s no question which club Country is most prolific at bottling the big event.

FIXED TWEAKED!!

This is a wider problem... We are ingrained with a losers' mentality!

Totally stinks of this doesn't it?

I don’t agree with what we done but it’s a Bit of a difference putting someone on holiday for a few months on 80% pay then getting rid of their job , let’s say they sack the lady from the canteen on maybe 25k a year which is not even a days wage for majority of the squad.

I don't personally know any United fans who'd be aroused by the prospect of hotels, property and racing tracks at the expense of their football team but I suppose there may be some out there.
I was in the pub the other day actually chatting to a United fan , said since he was a little boy he had dreamt of having a go-kart track at old Trafford and being able to see the likes of Beyoncé live from the stadium!
I found it a bit odd though as he was actually a southerner so I told him he could just go to the lane , he was shocked it wasn’t just for spurs fans!
Think I made his day as he actually booked the Beyoncé tickets there and then! :levylol:
