It's like a perfect storm for the media to go at Levy now.

Not only are we having a historically bad season, but his two biggest shields in Moshiri and Ashley are both gone from Everton and Newcastle respectively.

Man United are obviously also down in the dumps, but they have Rathcliffe come in so they are at least looking like they are trying to change things up.

There's nothing to shield Levy any more from the press.
I wonder if Man U fans would rather have Levy than that Rat?
Not defending levy at all but If it was a choice between him or rathcliffe I’m going for baldy every time

I have to applaud the amazing work from Change For Tottenham. They have propelled this issue into the mainstream like no one before. I particularly want to thank one of the organisers Jay who has appeared on various podcasts and shows. He speaks well, is likeable and most importantly has no ego in his role.

I'm posting this here, because I truely believe that PSR and the litigation against City is a ploy by unambitious owners to hamstring ambitious owners.

The headline reads huge blow to the premier league. How is it a huge blow? Sponsors wanting to pump money into the league is a blow? Its only a blow to owners like Levy who are made to look foolish by their lack of ambition and interest in their clubs.

Rightly so, this should be viewed as a restriction of trade.

The PFA will also launch legal action against PSR IMO. Its a stealth salary cap.

These rules are always fought by City, Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea and Notts Forest. Basically the teams that are trying to win something.

I’m sure fans of those clubs would say there’s no question which club is most prolific at bottling the big event.

All those occasions to me speak to the mentality of the club. The inability to win a big game under pressure, to beat a big club late in a tournament with it all on the line, this is a mentality that we have never had. Apart from one CL run, under the mentality of a manager who the chairman decided needed sacking, the lack of composure and mental toughness is pervasive.
We're probably the only big club that would hand out commemorative gold watches before the final has even been played.

What a fantastic example of the losing mentality that was

Any rules that are "illegal" should not be in place. It is arbitration, so not binding beyond the PL nor has it been tested by the courts but I am not going to squabble. I fail to see why anyone would disagree with that; obviously we don't want illegal rules.

The next battle ground will be salary caps, which are quite common, although not in the form of "anchoring".

Yeah. It paints the picture of a guy who means well, but is so stuck in his way of doing things that he doesn't see the forest for the trees.

And like I've said, with Ashley and Moshiri gone. The media are going to keep hounding him now.

Seems like there is a lot of support for this

If the Qataris took over and spent lots of money on players I’d be more than happy for Levy to stay simply because of his financial, abilities. Sadly though any demonstrations against him on Sunday might deter the Qataris from making an offer.
On the contrary. It would make an offer more appealing.
Any new owners would see a disgruntled fan base as an opportunity to come in and immediately be seen as saviours.
It's very rare that a club with popular owners changes hands.

It’s an interesting article and glad it is on the BBC website getting more attention to our need for change. Would love to know who the sources were though.

I think we don’t need to search too hard for the source of the last quote, that gas-lighting old cunt Cullen…

They believe a "vocal minority" of fans simply want success now, but should be careful what they wish for with calls for change.

They added: "Spurs haven't got the formula on the pitch just yet but it will come."

Levy was on borrowed time imo hiring that clown AVB. Pochettino gave him breathing space for five years then let himself down sacking a manager who deserved a rebuild. Appreciate what hes done infrastructure wise but let the fans down on the pitch. If Qatari rumours are true then they will take us to top level.
