Are you my wife ?
It’s tricky isn’t it?I know. I'm not. I'm not expecting anything to happen and it's clearly all timed to dampen any enthusiasm for a protest.
I was just giving a theoretical answer to your question and dreaming at the same time.
It’s tricky isn’t it?
I’m on my last night on holiday and feverishly refreshing on the site whilst I’m waiting in the hotel bar for Mrs B to get ready & bring down the scrabble.
It absolutely stinks of protest suppression ahead of the game tomorrow but I think it will make people louder and more feverish if anything.
I still don’t like the idea of DL remaining as CEO. I don’t see him suddenly ejaculating funds for the team if his remit remains the same.
If the Qatari buyers phased him off into the background to tinker with property development and corporate, then that would be great.
But watching him preside over the same old with a different sugar daddy?
As exciting as it may sound, I’m still left feeling dubious with anything that retains DL’s fingerprints all over it if he’s genuinely uninterested in the football side. You’ve quoted him a few times on this point.
Would he suddenly become care free?
Somehow I don’t see it.
IMO he’d run it exactly the same way and keep churning profit.
Ergo, different cheeks. Same arse.
Long story short, our bald goblin is now a kind of deity in Qatar.
Any cunt can buy a tick for a fiver a monthI don’t use twitter, so unsure what you have to go through to get a tick, but the JBT 86 guy isn’t the brother of the Emir.
I assumed he was posting about the actual prince?
Not the whole fanbaseThe excitement and anticipation would be fucking awesome. After the staleness and drudgery of recent years the whole fan base would be united and bouncing together
LOL!New City signing Marmoush has just scored a hat-trick after 33 minutes. Below are some Mido quotes about him recommending this player to Levy......
“Years ago, I sent a message to Daniel Levy urging him to sign Salah. I told him Salah would become one of the best players in the world,” Mido said.
“Levy said he’d keep an eye on him, but I believe he now regrets not signing him. I even brought one of the top agents to watch Salah when he was playing for Arab Contractors, but the agent wasn’t convinced. Sometimes, even the best experts can be deceived by what they see.
“A year ago, I messaged Levy again, this time recommending he follow Omar Marmoush. I don’t think Tottenham will make a move for him, but it’s a big club, and I’m proud to have played for them.
“There could be some things in football that only you see them. Marmoush is an example of a player who made a name for himself through hard work.”
Mido: I advised Spurs not to repeat Salah mistake with Marmoush

Be interesting to see their stance in a post ENIC / Levy utopian dream world wouldn't it?Not the whole fanbase
I can think of a few choice individuals who would be crying in front of a mirror with a wet creased photo of Levy attached to it , singing along to Adele's someone like you , hairbrush in hand
I'll let you decide on who those "people" may be
Yes it is, seems they've actually changed themselves.
Their twitter bio now states it as well.
I can understand their stance & I actually like it as I'm seeing fractures in the 'Change Movement' (I'm calling it that as I don't think everyone wants Levy out) due to petty bullshit & egos. I appreciate their last paragraph.Posted by Rachel Martin of The Trust on their Forum, she'd been asked if The Trust Supported CFT...
Our Chair has met with representatives of CfT recently to discuss areas we can agree on, and we also met with them a couple of years ago. We absolutely support the right for peaceful protest and have explained to them that there are different ways to achieve our goals.
Their position was not one that our members are aligned with (as discussed at recent AGM) in that a Levy / ENIC Out stance is only any use if there is a more attractive option on the table. There is currently no prospective buyer for the Club so a Levy out position is not only probably unrealistic, but we don't know what we would be comparing it to.
Would we want a position that Man U supporters find themselves in, for example?
Our position is to hold the Club to account and ensure that they do better against the five ownership principles:
* Commit to winning: Invest to the level needed to secure league and cup success.
* Attract & retain talent: Build a transfer policy and competitive wages to secure top players.
* Future-proof success: Develop elite youth talent to strengthen the squad and sustain excellence.
* Lead with integrity: Champion ethical standards, strong governance, and financial sustainability—reinvesting in the team while keeping tickets affordable.
* Fans first: Engage, consult, and collaborate with supporters and their representatives to build loyalty, passion, and success on and off the pitch.
There is a lot of common ground in our ownership principles and the items they have raised in their letter, as well as much content of Spurs Charter. So we can much better achieve these goals if we work together, than by criticising and attacking each other. We, and the FAB have direct access to the Board and we intend to capitalise on that to the very best of our ability. Both approaches, working alongside each other, can be powerful and, hopefully, effective
There’s a few on here that have made it very clear they’d not welcome Middle Eastern money. I’m sure they’ll continue their stance if and when it happens.Be interesting to see their stance in a post ENIC / Levy utopian dream world wouldn't it?
How will nostalgia for the miser be played out?
They will need their own thread I reckon.
We would need to check on them every now and then though.

What would be their main area of concern? There’s a few on here that have made it very clear they’d not welcome Middle Eastern money. I’m sure they’ll continue their stance if and when it happens.
