It’s tricky isn’t it?
I’m on my last night on holiday and feverishly refreshing on the site whilst I’m waiting in the hotel bar for Mrs B to get ready & bring down the scrabble.
It absolutely stinks of protest suppression ahead of the game tomorrow but I think it will make people louder and more feverish if anything.
I still don’t like the idea of DL remaining as CEO. I don’t see him suddenly ejaculating funds for the team if his remit remains the same.
If the Qatari buyers phased him off into the background to tinker with property development and corporate, then that would be great.
But watching him preside over the same old with a different sugar daddy?
As exciting as it may sound, I’m still left feeling dubious with anything that retains DL’s fingerprints all over it if he’s genuinely uninterested in the football side. You’ve quoted him a few times on this point.
Would he suddenly become care free?
Somehow I don’t see it.
IMO he’d run it exactly the same way and keep churning profit.
Ergo, different cheeks. Same arse.

I can think of a few choice individuals who would be crying in front of a mirror with a wet creased photo of Levy attached to it , singing along to Adele's someone like you , hairbrush in hand

I'll let you decide on who those "people" may be

There is a lot of common ground in our ownership principles and the items they have raised in their letter, as well as much content of Spurs Charter. So we can much better achieve these goals if we work together, than by criticising and attacking each other. We, and the FAB have direct access to the Board and we intend to capitalise on that to the very best of our ability. Both approaches, working alongside each other, can be powerful and, hopefully, effective

I can understand their stance & I actually like it as I'm seeing fractures in the 'Change Movement' (I'm calling it that as I don't think everyone wants Levy out) due to petty bullshit & egos. I appreciate their last paragraph.

I'm actually looking forward to the March not just to show our group voice but to have open dialogue with people in real life about this issue.

There’s a few on here that have made it very clear they’d not welcome Middle Eastern money. I’m sure they’ll continue their stance if and when it happens.

I guess I was just trying to be uber optimistic and inclusive for the sake of goodwill and forum harmony.
