This season means 'well at least it's not the 90s' retort cant be used anymore given its worse than anything we've seen since relegation in 1977. If Levy and the board had a shred of dignity they would resign. But they don't obviously.

Even if we don't win his end of season message will be we reached the final and got to the Carabao cup semi final.Maybe you should have brought the moving goalposts gif out mate.
In any case, Tottenham are cack these days, a complete laughing stock who narrowly avoided relegation.
Will be interesting to see Chairman Levy's end of season message to the fans.
He is hoping the club wins the EL , to then send out, hoping most will be in a more receptive mood.
I think the club wins the EL Wednesday night, primarily because, we are playing the worst utd team in 50 years. There you go, Levy, Palace just won the FA Cup. All your money, all that time and all those managerial hirings and firings, and you couldn't land even an FA Cup final. Pull your finger out, or pull out.
That's the thing. The Spurs regime is well recognised everywhere. Managers get fired inside 24 months and the club never win anything (I hope we do on Wednesday, but I don't see it with all our injuries) - so what decent manager and players would want to come here, and what decent players would want to stay?
We had a golden opportunity to go from strength to strength after the CL final of 2019, and Levy got all his priorities wrong. I said it at the time that is was all going to unravel if we don't invest in the squad and now, the way back is a very long road.
Which they will fail massively in delivering onIrrespective of Wednesday's result, a huge summer awaits ENIC/Levy.
De Ja VuIrrespective of Wednesday's result, a huge summer awaits ENIC/Levy.
De Ja Vu
Spoiler,
It will be the same nonsense as previous summers …
Have to disagree on the we can't bit, I think we can, but prefer not to and that's the difference with this club becoming one of the top clubs.Maybe.
Ask each of us what would not represent failure and it will be so varied as to mean they can only succeed against the highest of bars.
I just want to see a new manager in place quickly and then something akin to rational in terns of who we buy.
We can't and won't compete at the very highest end but we need to have recognise what the squad needs, in order to be competitive.
I think we will all need to show a measure of patience, because there is going to be a lot of expectation about what should happen.
My biggest hope is that a solid plan is in place.

I get the feeling United will want it more. Thats my main concern for Wednesday, not the quality of the opposition. I can imagine Levy quaking in his boots at the heightened expectations CL qualification will bring ahead of the looming summer transfer window. They’ll want to win this so they can tick the box. It won’t be the the start of them going for it or a realisation that this is what sport and football is about.
So Levy lied when justifying his new multi purpose arena! We can't and won't compete at the very highest end but we need to have recognise what the squad needs, in order to be cocompetitive

Hmmm....interesting![]()
A rambling load of nonsense......Mate, your narrative means nothing to me. Absolutely nothing.
You really appear to gain more pleasure/satisfaction in slating Levy and ENIC than you do in anything that the club does that resembles success or victory.
You will possibly even prefer we lose on Wednesday, so you can get some weird justification for your viewpoint.
I just hope we win and then will wait to see what summer brings.
A rambling load of nonsense......
But you still didn't address my perfectly reasonable question
Mate
Really? All the vibes coming out of United seem bad to me. From Radcliffe not paying for employees to go to Bilbao, a BBQ instead of parade, Amorim talking down CL next season. Just seems like a club very divided. Obviously their players still want to win, but I just get the feeling we are more focussed and together as a club.I get the feeling United will want it more. So long as he has alternative events lined up to substitute for the potential lack of European football he's probably not too bothered.
