If they were intent on sacking him because of the dire league form, which they claim, why the hell has it dragged on this long ? They know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Tossers.

Don't want Frank but do you think we'd be better off keeping Ange?

Glasner would be a step up but I doubt we'll get him
I would have given him ten games and if it was anything like as bad as last season you can sack him then without splitting the fan base.
Half the fanbase wanted to keep him and now it's going to be impossible for whoever is coming in.

Club divided.

And why wait 16 fucking days to announce this? This club is run like the dog and duck Sunday league team

Bit pointless giving a manager 10 games, you're effectively throwing the season away.

Yeah thats fair, I see it both ways. I also think it all goes back to the club filling the squad with youngsters who aren't ready and werner as the star winger.

With the size of this clubs income, even a poor manager should be getting at least 14th in the league but the squad and some stubbornness from Ange meant that was too ambitious

Only if it wasn't working after ten games...

It was an awkward spot.

By sacking him now he's split the fan base right down the middle and it's going to get incredibly toxic incredibly fast for the new manager.

And the people who wanted to keep Ange are going to be always asking "what if"

If you give him the ten games and it's a shit show you don't split the fanbase nearly as much and show a bit of backing and appreciation for the guy who has just won you a trophy

I think having a consistent season with no mid season change is far more important than splitting the fanbase.

If you win matches which you have higher chance of winning if you have 1 coach throughout the season the the fanbase will be united anyway.

I was Ange-In and I'm just glad that we finally have clarity on the situation. No more second-guessing.

The best thing we can all do now is get behind the new manager, whether it's Thomas Frank or someone else, and focus on the new season. No point moaning about something we can't change.

Let's get the new manager in, get some more players, thrash PSG in the Super Cup, get some points on the board and give the cups everything we've got.

COYS

I can see your point.

Anyway it's largely irrelevant now. he's gone, the fam base is split and certain people can all get giddy about the new manager. Get back on step one of the blinkered hamster wheel they are on.

The same problems at the club aren't going anywhere
