On the new stadium revenue debate , here's another little nugget gleaned from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Ltd accounts, all us ordinary mortals should be thankful to to high rollers for susidising our ticket prices, I believe Premium St's do get every match included on their ST unlike GA who just get the 19 PL matches.

Premier League gate receipts were £45.1m (2023: £44.2m). Premium revenue increased on the previous year to£52.9m (2023: £51.6m).

Sorry, but you really are being very very disingenuous here.

You asked for players that Liverpool have invested in over the last couple of years to win the league, and have been given about 5, without whom they do not win the league, but because their name is not Salah, purely because he was the best player in the League, you are not accepting it (discounting the fact if they didn't have Salah they would have someone else anyway).

Sorry your initial point is just not valid as it stands, and really would be best to accept that and move on.

I said he contributed.

I concede they bought and invested well in a side to complement their best player - so sure in that sense they have bought to win the league - but without Mo Salah, they don't win it. They could replace Diaz, and still win the league IMHO

All correct but on this and other forums there are still some who hanker over the old place, really not sure why. There are some who waffle on about it not being a football stadium , giant cockerel on the stand, The Dispensary, The White Hart and The Shelf bars, Spurs photos and murals all over the place , I just don't know what people are talking about and the scenes outside the stadium for the parade were just brilliant couldn't have done that at the old place.

PS Lets not forget we only got the multi purpose because of Archway Metals holding up the build , the first planned stadium didn't have the sliding pitch etc.

I wouldn’t say I hanker for the old stadium, but I do miss it. Love the new one, but got some great memories from WHL.

You can miss the old, but appreciate the new at the same time.

Before the final I mentioned some 'fans' were hoping we'd lose so they could rampage through this thread - he was one of them.

His disappearance after the final confirmed his heart ache at us winning.
