It may change if you are prepared to start the change, but it won't change if you aren't. Time to realise that you have a voice and use it. Maybe no one listens or maybe many listens. You'll never know unless you try. Daniel Levy relies on you not trying.

I already dont give him any of my money. I invest in as little as football as possible as the whole thing is designed to rip off fans, satisfy advertisers and just line the pockets of the the already mega rich.

Levy doesn't RELY on anything. He has the data, he has the facts and the staunchly anti levy parade are a blip in the Spurs fans universe.

Let's see.... if we start doing well next season.... are you gonna boycott? Stop watching out of principle?

I'm still very much on a high, I know for a fact thousands of others are too - not everyone is pissed off, apart from the permanent moaners.

It was the first day of pre season yesterday, first time Frank has met a lot of the players. Let's see what happens in the next couple of weeks.
Permanent moaners - what a pathetic and ignorant thing to call Spurs fans who actually care about the club, call out the shambolic running of the club and who don’t just sit there perpetually happy clapping despite being served up the same tripe year after year, season after season.

“Let’s see what happens.” Ha! You were definitely saying the exact same thing when we appointed Poch, when we appointed Jose, when we appointed Nuno, when we appointed Conte, when we appointed Ange.

Tell me oh wise one, what in gods name makes you think it will be any different this time? Because I would absolutely love to know where you find the optimism.

Permanent moaners - what a pathetic and ignorant thing to call Spurs fans who actually care about the club,

But you don't really care about the club, do you?

If you actually cared about the club, you would realise that the club itself is actually in a pretty good condition. Massive state of the art stadium, enviable training facilities, and a squad filled with bright young talents from around Europe which fittingly just won a European trophy, and that's after a solid decade of being in the Top 6 and a couple of years when we came 2nd in the league and were 90 minutes away from being champions of Europe.

In case you forgot, that's our best ever league performances since the 60s, and the highest-profile fixture this club has ever taken part in. Those who still cream themselves over the FA Cup won't want to hear it, but ENIC have produced the second-best period in the club's history, in terms of both league and European presence. Over than span we've also produced England's greatest ever striker and Tottenham's all-time top goalscorer, not to mention we're the place were Bale, the most successful British player of his entire generation, made a name for himself before we extracted a world-record transfer fee for his defection to Madrid.

Last year's league performance was abysmal, and that's what someone like Frank is hired to fix. Frank's resume isn't littered with silverware like Jose, Conte or Ange, but instead has made a great name for himself squeezing excellence out of the 2nd-lowest wage bill in the division. It wasn't some big name coach that got us so close to the summit of the game, it was an Argie who hadn't won a trophy that did for us, and so I guess we're trying again, and we're thankfully back in the CL for at least another season.

So the club itself isn't doing badly at all. It's not being run in a 'shambolic' way, it's being run as one of the richest and most famous clubs in world football, which is frankly not what could be said back in 2001 when it was bought for 50m squid; less than the price we charged for Kyle Walker.

So, really, this has nothing to do whatsoever with you caring about the club. You just seem to care about yourself.

call out the shambolic running of the club and who don’t just sit there perpetually happy clapping despite being served up the same tripe year after year, season after season.

Well, for season after season we were solidly in the Top 6, and for 3 or 4 seasons we were solidly in the Top 4, even challenging for the title and coming closer than any season since the early 1960s. So what tripe exactly are you complaining about?

“Let’s see what happens.” Ha! You were definitely saying the exact same thing when we appointed Poch,

Yes, and Poch was a fantastic appointment which gave us our greatest period in decades. Would be nice to replicate that, wouldn't you say?

Tell me oh wise one, what in gods name makes you think it will be any different this time? Because I would absolutely love to know where you find the optimism.

Well I for one don't want it to be much different than it was under Poch, because we were credibly challenging for the top trophies in the game when he was here. Personally, my optimism comes from the fact that under Levy we've become one of the biggest and best clubs in the world.

Don't like it? Go on a boycott. Hand in your ST. Walk away in disgust.

Just stop pretending it's the club you care about. Perpetual fucking moaners was accurate.

Thanks for proving my point 👍🏻

Quite right. Spurs trajectory is upwards - but they have built slowly, prioritizing financial stability and infrastructure over short term footballing performance.

Spurs are still trying to build a reputation on the world stage. We all like to think of Spurs as a 'big club' but, in the Premier League era, Spurs haven't earnt that reputation since they were perpetual 'runners up'.

The year we reached the Champions League final was dogged by the feeling that Spurs 'fluked' it with poor performances, and very poor league form at the time. The consensus was Spurs were completely outplayed by both City and Ajax in the QF/SF and weren't deserving of a spot in the final.

And now Spurs finally win a trophy - but again, their reputation still in tatters after a poor league performance.

The best players don't want to come to Spurs and, hiring Thomas Frank doesn't really help attract top players. We aren't shopping in the same aisle as Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Woolwich, United - who have all earnt their respect and status. We are competing with Newcastle, and to some extent Villa - still trying to be the next successful club.
