I think his wife has some health issues as well, I saw her alongside Levy on the approach to a stadium and she was struggling to walk

I’m genuinely stunned that the Lewis family have actually binned him off.
I never thought we’d see the day where he’d be gone. Or at least, if he did ever go, I was certain that his son was being primed to take over from him.
I’m intrigued to see what happens next. I hope whatever does happen though, that it takes us to the next level on the pitch. We and this club deserve more success.

So it seems that either:
- the Lewis siblings have decided that they want more success on the pitch and think Levy couldn't deliver it
- or keeping Levy was an obstacle to selling the club so they needed to get rid

Both parties were aligned it was time to go and they spent the last 12 months creating a succession plan. IMO that’s what happened, whether influenced from Lewis or otherwise
It seems like it's a combination of the two.
Yes, they want more success on the pitch, but it's become obvious that cannot be achieved without outside investment, leading to an eventual full sale over the coming months / years.
The obstacle was clearly Daniel Levy, who not only continuously moved the goal posts whenever new investment was in touching distance, but also insisted on retaining his position even in the event of a full takeover.
I'd expect one of the first major changes to be a naming rights deal announced this side of Christmas....
.And this will give us a good indication as to where we are heading.

I took my eldest on the stadium tour on Monday as he was desperate to see the Europa League trophy.
Interestingly, the guide told us that they are now converting the empty deck above the North stand into a bar.
That was originally being held back for the company paying for the stadium naming rights. So either they’ve given up on naming rights and want match day revenue having missed out on 6 years worth. Or is the stadium about to be renamed…

Overall I think Levy has done a good job. It's probably the correct time to go but for the many years he's been here he has improved the club massively.
Be interesting to see what happens next, I feel more sporting success is required consistently which you can blame part of that on Levy but certainly not all of it.
