ENIC In or ENIC Out

I think it'll be more of the same. I think they saw the growing protests and resentment within the fanbase and figured that removing the focal point of the unrest would settle things down and buy them more time..

.it's already working to an extent. The protests have been quelled (for now) and fans who were previously ENIC out are saying give them a few windows to see what they're about without Levy's stinking influence hampering any progress.

But one thing that even the most devout Levy followers can't deny is that he'd become a hugely divisive and controversial figure within the fanbase and had to be removed for this alone. Things had become toxic.

He'd also just overseen our worst league campaign for like a hundred years in terms of defeats. Let nobody forget this.

January will be a good indicator. As will their persistence in continuing with a flailing, uninspiring manager serving up anti-football for the fans to digest on a weekly basis.

My own pessimism has been reinforced by the latest suggestion that they're sticking with Frank

Their own rebranding from ENIC to “the Lewis Family” is what is ringing alarm bells for me. It’s the classic more of the same shit covered in different wrapping paper.

We need to hope Staverley comes back in during January when her clients are allowed to bid again and puts in an offer.

I am ok to give them this window and see if anything has changed
If this article is anything to go by the club are still looking at youth players with potential.

It's simply good investment strategy compared to signing highly expensive ready made players who will more likely devalue as time elapses.

But as you say, I'll wait until the January transfer window to see how the club behaves.

That’s fine but they clearly need to buy ready made, premium as well or it’s suicide city

Maybe. But my hopes have been dampened by the news of this bloke from Man City coming in as another so called DoF
If they were serious about selling, would they really still be putting their own team in place and making new hires in these positions?

I know, I have thought the same. However if someone comes in and offers them stupid money then I expect them to be too greedy to say no.

All those spineless cowards that relentlessly attacked me and others who were critical of Levy and ENIC (and continue to take pot shots in other threads today).....

What's your take on the current situation ??

AberdeenYid AberdeenYid , Airfixx Airfixx etc...What's it feel like being so wrong for so long, boys?

These guys are now learning what it’s really like at the sharp end of decision making in a big club. They don’t have Levy to hide behind anymore.

I’ve taken a short break and watched the team, the internet discussion, even checked in on this place now and then. What’s clear to me is that some of the shit I would forward wasn’t helpful.

But what also struck me is how lucky these guys are that Levy being sacked and winning the Europa has distracted the fanbase from protests.

The club deserves credit for the wage bill increasing and the transfer fees going on senior players this summer. There are 4-5 clubs that wouldn’t be absolutely over the moon with the level of ambition shown in the summer.

Their issue is decision making. Levy left a legacy of being too involved in every football negotiation and we are seeing consequences of that but right now these guys look like they think appointing Vinai and promoting Lange is some kind of silver bullet to fix that…. It’s obviously not that simple because their super-corporate, 10 stage decision process to appoint Frank was clearly just a load of LinkedIn waffle that didn’t replace actual football knowledge and understanding of this fanbase.

They have made the type of mistakes that Levy used to shield them from and now they need to learn on the job fast. Just sticking to a bad decision won’t suddenly make it a good one.

Maybe the new guy from City Football Group to replace FP will help a bit but Scott whathisface was CFG as well and so is the guy who went into Man United. Ultimately, they need to make better choices and they need to do it soon.

We all want to see them invest again in January and the summer but are any of us really sure that we want Lange and Frank making the decisions on where that investment goes? I’m fucking really not sure I want them to add any players in January.

I wouldn't let this cunt recommend another player... he is fucking useless bringing in players that don't fit with any kind of philosophy. I don't blame the players... Like I've said, if Kudus was at Liverpool and Simons was at the Chavs they would both be balling...

I have an update on the investigation into the alleged failings and potential wrongdoings of the megalomaniac, little tyrant.

Clearly a way to go but no smoke without fire and they must have some evidence. Will post a few specifics this morning but let’s hope he gets what coming. As most thought, appears he was operating for his own self interest, rather than the clubs.

Some contrary, deluded posters have a formal apology to make. He was toxic. A cancerous plague, so why did you argue black was white? Hopefully three outcomes; loses all his shares and stock, and the other two are TBC

There is no club

We've been parasitised and turned into a multi sports and entertainment business

The fucking state of this

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

the football is just a sideshow
Yep. You have to have a proper scroll to get to the actual football.

I'm really intruiged to see who they bring in this window. If the mandate is to let Lange go on another youth prospect bender then they're fucking idiots.
