Gooners will win the league this year and probably CL in a year or two.
Meanwhile, we continue to tread water in the league and stay in it.
We also aim to win a couple more home games during the next two years.
Forgot that, 30k unsold for Dortmund and the club are pumping out free community tickets
Yet still the Dortmund ones arent on general sale. Can only presume they dont want tons of Dortmund fans buying them.
Wow that's one of the biggest indictments on how things are now. Genuinely never thought I would see a city match go on general sale.
People say spurs fans are shit at protests etc and to be honest there's truth in it but what they are doing this season is voting with feet.
The club was selling half season season tickets 2 months ago and now some of the biggest games we have are going on general sale. I don't give a fuck what people say, the owners will be noticing this
To be fair, I reckon there's been a bit exodus of matchday-going-fans (Korean) with Son now missing.
That was a few thousand a match. The club now has to try and flog half season tickets and a home game against city on general sale. This is the sort of stuff that clubs do listen too. I admire the change for tottenham group and what they do but reality is that the owners will care more about the unsold seats and lack of interest in matches than anything the change for tottenham group do.
So you haven't become aware the club are struggling to sell tickets?
That's one way of doing it, and believe me the CEO and owners will know. The other thing posters can do is post their disgruntlement on the large social media platforms and it finds it's way onto the terraces irl.
So some posters want to give ENIC a chance with their supposed new approach before they start commenting negatively about them. There's also a fair chance the physical protests will restart.
You'll probably laugh it all away as a waste of time, or even argue against it.
Scott, did you not know Levy isn out of the club and there are no Levy lovers.
He didn't say anything about not buying tickets any more, or about making a fuss on social media - that's why I asked him what he intends to do if the club doesn't do as he wishes. If he did say he was going to stop buying tickets etc, then I'd admire his determination, though it will take a lot more people to stop buying tickets to make the board behave differently, given other revenue streams etc. But perhaps it will make a significant impact, that wasn't my point. (Why on earth would you think I would laugh at someone having the backbone to vote with their wallet? I'd never laugh at that. So many weird reactions to things in this thread, people seem a bit crazy in here...). I was simply asking him what he intended to do if he doesn't get his wishes - I'm not sure why that warrants so much criticism, it was a perfectly reasonable question. :/

It's perfectly simple and perfectly plausible. Also he's not obliged to explain himself to you.
I'm giving ENIC the January window before I criticise them like I did before. It all gets washed up on the terraces and mainstream media outlets from online platforms. The owners don't want bad publicity or toxicity in or near the stadium.
The club need to accept it’s no longer a football
Stadium, but a hospitality and entertainment complex and create a giant neutral section to allow big clubs to bring massive away support, to sell out all seats
Personally i would prefer they first try and cut ticket pricing for home fans by about half, but assuming that doesn’t work then this is the only option (based on the self investment plan of no owner funding to compete).

Apparently, we need to wait until the war chest is available. They did promise us (or so they leaked to media) that they will be spending. However, they told the manager a month or so ago to put a list of players that can be sold ASAP so they build the funds (BJ fetched 30+ mil, Solomon, etc.)
So, guys, let's wait for those losers to sell before any deal is done. If not enough sold, they will then tell us the squad is too big and they had to sell before bringing anyone in.

Of course he's not obliged to explain himself to me, I never said he was. That doesn't mean I can't ask. Yes there are things that people can do, but they could do them without sounding so full of power, arrogance, entitlement and individual importance. (N.B. not all of those are directed at that specific poster, those cover a few regular contributors here...)
Exchanges like this remind me why I don't normally venture into this thread, and why the more extreme elements of the 'movement' struggle to gain more traction, it's impossible to even have a sensible conversation, so many people in here seem incapable of actually discussing anything without hyperbole, obfuscation or just downright aggression when asked any questions about their views or actions. Sorry I ventured into your lair / echo chamber.

I can’t remember who was telling the story, I think it was a journalist talking about us in the late 80s. He went into the boardroom and there was a group of people who huddled together. It was the board all surrounding a box that was showing the number of people going through the turnstiles and what the attendance was. Sure things have moved on with the TV money, but they were 100% be looking at attendances.
It is why they have brought back the 3 free CRN spaces for season ticket holders. They haven’t done that through the goodness of their heart as they make it as hard for us to have season tickets. It will be in a response to the drop in attendances.
Ha ha yea I listened to the same story, it was Danny Kelly on view from the lane.
100% that's why they brought in the CRN changes, attendances have been down so they need to do something. Its just another symptom of the complete mismanagement.
Last season I swore I'd never go again until levy left (coming from Ireland and usually stay over so it's an expensive trip) so went to wolves game where we got outplayed and after looking at how much that cost me versus the shite I had to watch on pitch I've sworn again that until ENIC prove themselves I won't go back.
Some will say I'm a shit fan cos of that but that's grand I just can't justify it anymore when the football gets in the way of a good trip. For what it's cost when I do it a few times a season we now as a family go on a couple weekend trips instead and that's what I'll continue to do.

No, that makes complete sense and I bet there’s hundreds doing the same. I said to my family I’ll do West Ham with them but I’m taking a break after that. The time, money and effort just isn’t worth it. Maybe if they bring a couple of exciting transfers in I will change my mind but I’m sceptical of that happening.
I have no issue whatsoever with posters giving ENIC a chance, nor them putting a timeframe on it. I was taking the piss out of the arrogant self-important way it was expressed. That's my bad, I shouldn't have come in here expecting anything else, nor to escape criticism myself for mocking it, that was my mistake, for which once again I apologise. I just forgot what this thread is like - that's on me.
To be clear (and in an attempt to find some common ground if possible) - I do respect anyone who stops giving the club money in order to try to make a difference, and I do respect anyone who uses social media to air their grievances with how the club is being run, as long as they do it in a balanced and mature way (which precious few seem capable of).
