This ownership has the fanbase absolute beaten down and standards in the mud.

We're lurching from one chump to another trying to manage a bunch of misfits - meanwhile we have the fanbase so dazed by all this that we have people on this forum considering Mason a better option at this point.

Then we had fans praising a 5-3 defeat by PSG a month or two ago - i mean we conceded FIVE f*cking goals, how can you see positives in that? Do you think other fanbases of similar sized clubs would tolerate that?

We're an absolute shambles - the owners need to go and they can take Frank with them.

Few ENIC out chants last night apparently. These will be increasingly audible this month if they dont buy some players. Nobody is buying ENIC rebranded.

I can’t remember who was telling the story, I think it was a journalist talking about us in the late 80s. He went into the boardroom and there was a group of people who huddled together. It was the board all surrounding a box that was showing the number of people going through the turnstiles and what the attendance was. Sure things have moved on with the TV money, but they were 100% be looking at attendances.

It is why they have brought back the 3 free CRN spaces for season ticket holders. They haven’t done that through the goodness of their heart as they make it as hard for us to have season tickets. It will be in a response to the drop in attendances.

Think that was Danny Kelly on VFTL? O r a guest on their show.

This is my fear.

We won't back him in the January window, sack him after and then the new manager is stuck with the same squad issues

It's possible.

I mean if Frank in sanctioning the Johnson sale was categorically told that the club would then reinvest he should say so.

The issue of course is that he is on a tenuous footing, so he might prefer to say nothing.

Both equate to more suffering for us, because whilst I absolutely think the squad should be doing better than it is, it also needs bolstering very quickly.

It's neither nor at present.
