I imagine, if you were really charitable, you could squint hard and look at the failure of this manager and find excuses for ownership: no obvious replacements, caretaker is no guarantee, better options in summer, etc.

Levy always took the heat for them. They figured they could boot him out and we’d have an ok enough season to take the heat off them.
They just didn’t understand that they’ve got people making football decisions who have even less clue what they’re doing.

Frank wouldn't be here now if Levy was. People used to criticise him for sacking managers, but now the pendulum is so far the other way that it's self-destructive.
It comes across as apathy when there's total silence from the club. We don't even have the media pointing at Vinai or Vivienne or whoever, and I think that's because responsibility is so absent now.
ENIC and sugar took the swagger out of tottenham imo. We used to take risks before then. Now we're run by accountants who know fuck all about football. They need to sell up in summer. They've outstayed their welcome.
