This is the kind of stuff which will lead to heads rolling more than the football. ENIC will be shitting themselves at the thought of losing actual money.

Leads back to our wage cap.

Won’t pay the wages, don’t get elite players. Don’t get elite players, don’t compete and then we combine it with a run of bad managers and injuries and thus fighting relegation.

Lack of spending on wages has led to a net loss of money. The failure of austerity. Levy and ENIC never seemed to get their heads around the holistic nature of football and how being penny wise pound foolish bites you in the end.

Just about to say the same. It was always the levy way.

Yup. If this is true then it will truly mean that things will have to change. This is a wake up call for the owners to either sell up or take the football seriously.

Turns out, that well run and competitive clubs make more money.

The under performance of club finally catching up with ENIC.
It is true though, what sponsor wants to take their clients to a game where the stadium isnt full, the atmosphere is toxic and to watch football that's shit & is played by lower mid level players?! Why would they associate themselves with a club whose own fans hate the owners?!

Genuinely think them now being responsible for the big decisions is too big for them and if they haven't already realised it they will before the seasons over.
I genuinely believe the club will be put up for sale before the end of the year.

Our wages are still better than the majority of PL clubs and so we should not be fighting relegation. We should be around 6th.

It is either that or they bring in actual competent people to run it. Those are the two positive outcomes from this.
I just don't see the net benefit of the Lewis kids sticking around. If revenue starts to fall, I don't see any other choice but to sell. The value is going one way over the last couple of years, and they've shown proclivity that they can address it.

It makes no sense not to sell at this stage.
