Love this post I came across on another forum

The defence of ENIC was always so pathetic. A club that had been very successful from the 50’s to 80’s and just had a bad period in the 90’s and yet the entirety of ENIC’s defence was well it’s not as bad as Sugar and the 90’s.

That might have been ok for 10-15 years but it’s quarter of a century since the 90’s. It was always such a loser defence. A this is as good as it gets defence. Let’s overlook the terrible scouting, the total lack of a football strategy, the constant lowballing on players we need all because it’s slightly better than Sugar.

ENIC are so lucky they took over the club from Sugar and not after the 60’s or 80’s. The expectations were much lower. It’s kind of like the reverse of Fergie at United, it’s horrible to follow a winner but easy to follow someone who was crap.

Alan Sugar made their life easy. Long as we are better than someone who is totally sh*t. guess what we are actually worse than Sugar now.

The words Nail and Head spring to mind

People need to realise that vitriol and bile is aimed at the person who has wronged... irrespective of that person's gender, colour, religious beliefs or whatever...
If they've DONE WRONG, they should be held accountable. Viv Lewis is in charge... She's responsible for where we are right now... Not just her, but right now, she's in the firing line!

Levy got it in the neck... Sugar got it while he was ALSO destroying us from the inside...

We just need a hierarchy that love TOTTENHAM more than (or at least as much as) they love money!
...and right now, I couldn't care less if they were Aliens from the planet Mekon...

They could potentially lose most of the value if we don’t go back up though. There’s disconnect between owners, fans, players. It’s a real possibility we don’t come back up if we go down. We’d probably have to gel a new team together as well.

They could have sold last year and probably seasons before but they were too greedy. Might be the same again. Like when you dont cash out halfway on a losing bet and end up losing all of it. It’s about risk for the buyer and seller. I don’t think it would make it less likely they sell. We’d be more likely to go back up with new owners imo.

There's nothing anyone can do - the club isn't for sale. They've said it repeatedly. The press enjoy trotting out the takeover rumours twice a year because the click bait headlines are good to juice their views, but its just BS.

But if you would just romance her and show her some good good lovin', then maybe you could exert some influence and move things in a positive direction.

Ask not what your club can do for you; ask what you can do for your club!

THAT would be the only silver lining to us going down... They lose EVERYTHING and realise that their filthy, disgusting repugnant GREED has ultimately cost them big time!!

They don't care if the CLUB goes down, but whatch them panic and squirm when their SHARES and BANK BALANCE does!
 
If we go down the clubs value decreases, I assume, meaning we're quite possibly a more enticing proposition to purchase, however the value decreasing also means ENIC are less likely to sell in the hope we go straight back up.

Rock and a hard place.
