Ex-Spurs Player Eric Dier

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I can’t take another year of this. Just pay him off

Jesus Christ, I've waited years for someone to make an Eric Dire error reel like this

Was about to say that we seem to have a crazy high amount of mistakes that get punished by a goal. It seems every single time someone screws up anywhere in our half its a goal. You can almost see it coming. Other teams seem to make mistakes and get away with it. Maybe it's just my biased eyes.
Believe me, Dier is making these mistakes all the time, ranging from fairy small mistakes to full blown howlers. But the majority of these thread is full of people saying things like "we kept a clean sheet so Dier played well"

If we keep a clean sheet, it's despite him, not because of him.

Aside from the obvious in that video, the thing that irks me almost as much is that he immediately turns around every single time to try and give someone else a death stare.

He'll be here another season and then go on a free. I don't think he has any takers this summer, personally.

On the contrary I think there would be plenty of takers for him at the right price if it was known he was for sale. He's still somehow in and around a very good England team. I could easily see someone like Everton or one of the promoted sides dropping 10-15 million on him.

Possibly. He'd be a lot more attractive to the teams in mid/lower league positions when he becomes available for nish in summer 2024.

From what I've seen of Ange-ball, he'll be an even bigger liability than he has been for eons. That's dangerous squad planning.

I hope inside Hotspur Way they are having very forthright and honest conversations about him and with him.

This is the shit Sanchez gets eaten alive for.

Nobody's booed this fucking guy?
Sanchez is worse on the ball and makes more mistakes, but he doesn’t hide when it comes to actual defending. Sanchez doesn’t always get it right but will at least attempt to stop them scoring, Dier makes less mistakes as he’s doing much less defending. If Sanchez wasn’t so poor on the ball he would start over Dier most weeks. Neither are good enough.

And if Sanchez makes a mistake he doesn’t try and blame his teammates like Dier and PEH

My heart will sink a little if he’s on the team sheet in our first PL game.

Which he probably will be.
I will hit the bottle. The thought of seeing him out on the pitch in August, running back to correct his inevitable mistakes with all the speed of Peter Kay in thigh-high wellies hauling a giant bag of body parts fills me with dread.

I’d want the first choice CB to play on crutches bandaged up like a mummy if they’re injured rather than have to endure Dier.

But I’d still take him over Sanchez. THAT’S how shit Sanchez is!

It’s very close

It’s very close mate

And I’d prefer Sanchez in the dressing room
Far less disruptive!
