Ex-Spurs Player Eric Dier

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yeah it's really hard for me to fathom how he was the Championship Player of the Season. He just seems like a person allergic to making himself the center of the game in that way.

He scored some goals. I watched Fulham a lot that season (I had a betting addiction and championship was a go to) and I was rarely impressed by his on the ball work.

He was good at making a lot of back post runs in a very dominant championship team. He never looked like their biggest threat outside of scoring.

Letting Dier go on a free wouldn't be bad business in my opinion. We've had nearly ten years of him, his so-called best years and bought him for only a few million. Expecting to get a decent transfer fee would be taking the piss. He's had a few injuries and on the decline.

Kinda similar to the Dele situation where he just needs to be moved on.

Thank christ so many folk now see Dier as the has-been that he is. If we left it up to his handful of fans, the team would be made up of him, Winks and a bunch of fucking chicken farmers.

Who is going to pay actual money for this pair after watching them play this season?

You can see why they persisted with Sanchez as he cost so much. You could argue the price tag weighed on his shoulders. He never got as many chances as dier and he certainly didn’t make as many mistakes as dier.
Dier only cost 4 million. Move him on to fuck. I’ll move his furniture myself.

Been playing with an injury since January apparently. Might explain some of his bad performances, but surely that's some dreadful decision making.

How many CBs did we have if he didn’t play.

Nobody could question Dier for commitment.

If he’s around for a year as squad depth that’s fine. If he gets fully healthy, drops a couple KGs and the rest allows his decisions to be less stressed and rushed … then fine.

If we give him 3 years and lean on him as a starting CB, we are acting like a mid table club

you believed Paradodgy was

Nope.

I said we had no concrete reason to believe he was up to anything dodgy at our club.

We still don't.

I also said (pre court-case) that I didn't know anything about him pre-Spurs so had no reason to think he was dodgy.

Wheras, you're creating fan fiction in your head due to thinking Dier is crap.... Very different.
