Those comments reflect and represent the significant majority of THFC fanbase.
You could argue that the anger should be more directed at ownership for failing to replace/upgrade on these substandard players.

I have had time to think about this documentary. I think the hyperbole about the documentary is probably a bit over the top and if you look at the bigger picture the club are probably looking at it as there is not much more to his story at Spurs.
Dier is human but at the end of the day fan is short for fanatic. Don’t expect normal/rational behaviour.
We’ve had our worst season in 14 years, conceded the most goals in 15 years, Dier is meant to be our defensive leader no?
To me the fans gave him way more rope than others.
Let’s be fully honest here; Do we believe that we can compete and challenge for honours whilst he remains an important cog of the squad? I say no. If you believe the opposite, I fully admire your optimism.
It was literally one season ago where everyone on here was slagging Southgate off for not picking him for the England squad and people were suggesting we could challenge city with him at the heart of defence!

I wouldn't have a problem with Dier being a squad player. I am just going to trust Ange to make these decisions and get behind the players that want and Ange wants to be here, it's quite simple really.

Context matters - He was up against Maguire and Coady. Now look at them, Colwill is on the rise and it’s obvious he is a much, much better player than all 3.
There’s nothing that suggests he can contribute anything positive in a 2 CB high line defence.
