Sounds a bit weird still.
England are strong in parts but I'd say Italy's squad is better balanced and in some key areas like goalkeeper, centre back and centre mid they are stronger.
Gave this a like, schadenfreude.

They will probably meet the winner of Belgium v Germany in the quarter final. Anything could happen in that.
I'd fancy both Germany and Belgium, though not by a great distance.
Don't get me wrong, Italy can win it. I'm just going by an inkling I have. But to be fair, a lot of my inklings have left me feeling like a right numpty in the past.
But I feel Turkey, Switzerland and Wales isn't the best preperation for when they play a really good side. There's going to be a big jump in quality.
They've looked pretty great the last two games.
I have no idea how good Turkey or Switzerland really are, but they made them look incredibly ordinary.
I wonder if they'll go for it against Wales or rest players. A draw would see Wales through.
