I am surprised, although not really since De Boer is an idiot, that Netherlands went back with Van Aarnholt. I guess if that is your choice going into the tournament maybe one game is too early to make changes, but Van Aarnholt sucks so not like he should be a nailed on starter and Wijndal looked so much better in the other game.

The Dutch aren't great up top, and that's what will cost them in the end in regards to actually winning the thing. Depay is great on his day but falls short of world-class, and Weghorst while being useful doesn't strike fear in you. Malen is promising but it's hard to gauge his quality when he scores his goals in a rotten Dutch league.

Like I keep saying with Italy, they have really played anyone yet though. Ukraine are far from great and this Austrian side is extremely average. They do look a good side but much bigger tests away for them... and that also goes for everyone's favourite Italy.

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with Sabitzer getting as little opportunity to demonstrate his talents during these Euros as possible, so the sooner they're out the better in my books.
