Competition EURO 2021

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The poorest Italy side that has 56-3 in goals in their latest 17 games, only 3 draws and the rest wins. It's the best Italy side in many years. But we'll see.
We have played nobody for years (but ok, still winning every qualifier is not too bad), and honestly it's difficult to assess the value of Turkey (the looked dead in the second half). I think this side in terms of quality is slightly better than Conte's (who did an amazing job) , but nothing anywhere near the successful Italian sides of the past. I think England wouldn't have many problems to beat us (unless they create problems to themselves)

I loved watching Italy yesterday. I was expecting a similar level to Conte's 2017 side, and honestly I think this one is slightly better (but certainly not tournament winning material, and nothing to worry teams like England , France or Portugal of course).
I had fun watching the attitude of this team and I am going to enjoy this expectation free tournament. Let's hope to go through the group ... nothing should be taken for granted for the level we are

I may have written Mancini off too soon. I always thought he is the most successful useless manager on the planet, but I think he's doing a good job with the quality he's got ... certainly pleasant to watch. I loved the passing

Avanti cosi' 👍 🇮🇹
Never seen Italy play Tiki-Taka/pass-it-from-the-back football like yesterday. Will take some time to get used to, similar to England in 2018 when they started to build up from the back with Pickford. Just not a style that you associate with those teams.

They looked dead from the first minute. That's not to say Italy didn't play well in the second half, because they did, and I think they are genuine dark horses along with England and Netherlands.

Sometimes it's hard to say whether the winners played well or if it was more that the opposition were truly terrible on the day/night. The truth perhaps lies somewhere in the middle.

Looking forward to seeing how Rodon does today.

Bummed Zakaria isn't starting for Switzerland, I've heard good things and was hoping to get a look at him. I think they're going to have a lot of trouble producing goals. Shaqiri being the focal point I'm just not sure about at this point - every time he came on for Pool this past year he was horrible.

Geoff Hurst isn’t celebrated in this country at all, bar West Ham fans

Any other racists ‘we’ celebrate?

For what it’s worth Vince, my mum is Scottish and I have lots of family up there still, and some of the most racist people I’ve ever met have been Scottish

Went to a Celtic v Barcelona friendly in Dublin maybe 5 years ago. Iffy Ambrose scored an own goal and I’ve never in my life at a football match heard so much racism aimed towards one man from the Celtic ‘fans’

Again I’m not saying all Scottish people are racist, just an idiotic minority, but maybe get off your high horse on the matter, Scotland isn’t exactly a diverse country is it
Geoff Hurst is perhaps the most celebrated English sports person.
Suarez was never held to account for his racism, indeed an English club supported him in his racist abuse of Patrice Evra.
And I suppose your elected politicians will continue to defend and promote the booing of those brave players in your squad who try to symbolically resist racism by taking the knee, as we witnessed on Thursday night via your state broadcaster.

I'm glad after five years of complicit silence you have decided to object to the racist actions of Celtic supporters in Dublin towards Efe Ambrose.

I've spent that much time in the Pembrokeshire part of South Wales over the years that I always like to see Wales do well. I can see a score draw today, 1-1.
