Agree. I don't really expect us to seriously contend to win the EL or the LC at this point, but they should be the focus at least.
Gala was the "free hit". He can't afford to go weak here. Wrapping up EL qualification is Ange's best chance of survival - a win and we are basically there. Not to mention momentum, another defeat will be brutal.

Yep, but unlike previous years, and that includes Kane, I don't feel we have any player who has or is even capable of an unplayable day. Not even close.
I think Son is still capable of having a devastating day, potentially. Brennan is gonna have a hat trick sooner than later.
But when it happens for us it'll be more like a Lucas Moura spree - completely unexpected. Almost expect Werner to tie his laces just right one day and finally score buckets.

Rangers players aren't Osimhen or Icardi or Mertens, but Ibrox is pretty much on par with Istanbul in terms of hostility...and we all saw the ton of shit in our players' trunks during that game...or any other where there's even a whiff of adversity.
We've not put in one solid performance in the comp yet, now would be a good time otherwise they'll do to us what Gala did...and what giants AZ/Qarabag/Ferenc weren't far from achieving too.

Rangers are poor but they step up on European nights especially at Ibrox. We will still have too much for them depending on if we start strong.

They've already beaten Nice, Bucharest and Malmö, drew with Olympiacos, it's not as if they're whipping boys of the Europa. And the Ange factor will fire up their players and fans.
(And we've just been beaten by a Champo team from Suffolk and only squeezed past Coventry).
