Match Europa League - Ferencváros vs Tottenham. 5:45, Thursday 3rd October

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I certainly think that in time the ideal is to have 16/17 players indistinguishable in quality, so that you can have a constant carousel of 2/3 rotations every game. Rather than have these games where it's wholesale changes from "the 11". It would certainly lead to less injuries as well I'm sure. I feel like that's what City have done well over the years. There's been seasons in the past where it feels like they play their strongest team every game, no matter the competition. When really they're just constantly rotating 2/3 players out at a time all over the pitch.
Have only 1 full starting XI of quality players = cup team
Have 2 full starting XI of quality players = team that can challenge for the league

Probably. But im a bad ass rebel who don’t take no crap offa nobody
Don't make me add your name to Deuterz in the little book

Ange has used this opportunity to make wholesale changes. I doubt he does the same in the next few EL games.

Maybe Sarr, Biss and Gray still start but otherwise we go more or less full strength. If we get 7 points from the next 3 we're basically there.

(We should see a switch of Bentancur to EL duty once his FA ban kicks in though.)

I hope he can still find regular game-time for Berg too....

The trick will be us getting Sonny, Odobert & Richarlison (and Udogie) back over the coming month.... Then we can mix it up a little (and feed game-time to those who need it) without going full B-team.

Today Biss showed why he's second string. Some amazing moments but also some absolutely headless ones. Until he can show he's safer in possession and better positionally it's Bentancur's position to lose
yep. I only saw last 30 but he gave the ball away in needless areas so much - coupled with 2-3 quality dribbles to beat the press.
