Club Everton - The comedy

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's one thing for one's belly to grow with age, but I've never seen someone's head expand like that.
It's good to be comfortable in your own skin.

4 wins and 1 draw (against top of table Dippers) from last 5 for Everton. Moyes is doing some job. Just getting on with what he has. Just shows what a difference a proper coach makes.

I guess the alternative view is that Moyes is simply delivering the points pragmatically as staying up is Everton’s desperate and immediate goal. Beyond that and longer term is less clear.

We’re trying to build something deeper for the long term. Supposedly. To bring trophies and titles. Supposedly. The fact we’re 3 places above the relegation places - only thanks to Spam’s inferior goal difference - demonstrates the relative success of our respective targets.

Just watched some footage of their under 18s playing a test match at the new stadium last night

I don't know what it is , but every time I look at their new stadium it just looks really cheap and basic

Maybe my perception is warped by the level of quality with our stadium

First game at your new stadium and this is your mindset. Scousers not doing much to rid themselves of the stereotype here!

Walking back to our parking spot after the game at Goodison this season I spotted this bloke parked in a supermarket car park with binliners over his number plates - the supermarket car park had ANPR charging cameras.......if they just put their minds to good instead of finding new ways to cheat the system I reckon that city would be in a far better place.

'By far and away the best stadium in the country'
'Will have the greatest atmosphere of any stadium worldwide'

It looks nice enough, but jesus, these scouers man. If they saw a new Biffa bin on their road it would be the most revolutionary trash chariot the world has ever seen

Everton say they were the first club in the country to have a three tier stand, when they rebuilt the Goodison Road one during the 69/70 season.
I'd have thought the Shelf would have qualified as being that.

Tbf they consider Liverpool to be a separate country, so the first is easy. And I doubt many of them have travelled outside of Liverpool, so 'worldwide' probably includes stretching to Southport and Runcorn.
