The players simply couldn't care less. Its a bunch of fake effort and pretending to care but actually analyse the positioning of the players and effort for that Keane goal, for the southampton goals. The players are actively moving away from blocking, moving away from making a challenge, moving away from being in the right position and then they make this fake last second effort when the damage is done.
