Match Everton v Spurs April 3rd

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I would have guessed the players would have come out wanting to make a decisive statement to prove Conte was wrong about them. They weren't awful all the way through, but there were things to point to that seemed to validate Conte. Peresic had Son open on a break and ignored him, Porro had Kane and Son to his left trying to get his attention and he blasted one over the goal. There was the play where Lloris forced the ball to Romero directly in front of the goal (and why he was there is anyone's guess). Dier wasn't terrible but he was in no man's land on the goal. Lloris seemed glued to the pitch on Keane's goal. Moura's red card showed poor judgment. It felt as if Everton took the initiative away from Spurs once they were a man down and definitely did after Moura's red card. It was as if they couldn't decide a man up to press their advantage or to sit back so they did neither. As they say, you are what the table says you are.

Get Rodgers in or De Zerbi.

Stellini nice bloke but out of his depth.

1 up 10 men. Stick with a fcukimg back 3. Mental.

We need new ideas desperately.
Rodgers???? Why not get Mick McCarthy in while we´re at it!

Oh Yeah Hello GIF

What was the actual point of sacking Conte just to keep his entire coaching staff and right hand man? Completely pointless.

No offense to Stellini, but who is he? All I know about this guy is he was involved in matchfixing a decade ago. What has he achieved since then?

Its mad that I guarantee the majority of fans would still pick a Stellini over a guy like Dyche cos theres a stigma against working class sounding English managers working in the PL. Down to 10 men and the mighty Everton still manage to get a goal back and a point. And its not like Stellini is new. Hes worked with these players for over a year.

Id love to know where Everton wud be in the league since dyches appointment
Because no one else wants to come here

We need a goal keeper an creative central midfielder a decent centerback and a left-sided attacker with pace and skill. When we lose Kane you can add a Centerforward
It really just hit me today just how far we've fallen behind rivals. Forget City/Utd/Arse, how many Newcastle players walk into our 11 now? How about by next year?

Seriously depressing shit, we cannot fuck up the next appointment, we could turn into a West Ham/Everton in 3-4 years if it goes badly

People acting like Rodgers is a really shit manager. He really isn’t. Had a pretty rough season this year, but had them punching well above their weight, won the FA Cup and played decent football with young players.

Two fifth placed finishes with Leicester (Only 1 + 4 points off 4th) with an FA cup win, guess we can say he got to a Conference League semi-final too, even though the competition is pointless...

He's definitely capable of doing good work. But equally capable of the opposite.

Has to be said, credit Everton and Dyche.

They are a good side at home. We won’t be the last team to drop points there.

They are basically Newcastle without Trippier or anyone that can finish.

Athletic, pressing beasts that really want it and solid at the back.
Dyche is keeping them up and finishing mid table next season, possibly top hall

Had the fortune of watching the game in Archway with a bunch of yanks studying in London. All of them support spurs. Archway has changed...I remember being 14 and drinking around there; I remember fights and old drunks. Back then even had an Woolwich bod lift me up by the neck...kicked him in the bollocks and ran.

Yep agreed When he had a competitive budget he did ok.. problems really started when the Thai owners started to pull the financial reigns in... That and vardy passing 35 didn't help..😭 Rodgers did well at Liverpool but there was talk that his personal life imploded and it sort of overwhelmed him. ...though tbh not sure on that one..
