It's incredible that Son is still starting games. And now we've given him the striker spot to try and get his confidence up against a middling Championship team.

I hope he scores. But fuck me, does he have to start every game in this form???

I get picking Son. Our season changing relies on him finding form. I do think that when fit Richarlison now starts over him in league games, but for an FA cup game going with Son makes sense .. to me at least.

The defence is crap, but lads .. it's fucking Preston. Those footballers are good enough ten times over to do the job against them.

IIRC Boro were pushing for playoff places and on a good run at the time ... I mean obviously it was still fucking Boro and it was a joke of a performance, but they were still a nastier prospect than this Preston team.

But even then, the 11 we put out should've been a lot better. Conte's put out an 11 that should be capable of winning without any issues.
