Match FA Cup -Preston (A) 28/01 - 6PMKO BBC1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Better after the goal. I really hope thats the turning point for Son. I think Conte needs to realise Kane needs to start dropping a bit deeper again to allow Son room. We need Kanes creativity as well. Otherwise Bissouma decent, Perisic worked hard but Preston are total shithouse so perspective needed.

Can't argue with that second half.

Son hopefully back though lets see how he fares against better opposition. Aside from the two great strikes it was the best I've seen his touch/link play for a long time. Good signs.

Danjuma looked very lively. Can't ask for much more of an impact.

With Rich and Lucas soon back fit we really do have a lot of attacking options now.

Thought Gil and Skipp both did well.

Skipp has looked good. Composed not wasting the ball, winning it when he had the chance.
Agree. He looked for the decisive forward pass and nearly got it once or twice. A nice cross to Son and a through ball over the top to Danjuma.

I really wish he'd get more chances.

So much better in 2nd half. Danjuma, Gil and Skipp all looked good when they came on. However it needed Son to play like he used to to breakPreston to allow those late subs to thrive. Good result and glad Conte’s team had enough to win.

That was probably the most professional game we have had against a lower division side in quite a while. and I cannot complain about the result even if the football wasn't that great.

Good comfortable performance. Son, Skipp and Bissouma did well. Cleansheet for Forster, should keep him in next game looked solid. Hopefully Son is hitting his (long awaited) purple patch of form.

Carry this kind of performance into our other games.

That assist from Perisic!
