On that note it’s actually not too bad a draw, could have been worse. Good recent record against Villa, and as others have said players may be up for this as it’s prem opposition so there’s a chance they actually fancy giving it a go.

Games will be played over the weekend 8th Feb... no midweek games for Villa either side but we have Liverpool on the Thursday before so we'll likely be fucked.
I get what your saying but a large cohort of people on here blame all our injuries on Ange not resting players enough so trying to appease to everyone
It's very annoying seeing City and Liverpool get easy draws while we have Villa away. It's a bit like how Woolwich and Liverpool just fell into the caribou semis playing their B team but getting easy draws.
What makes it even worse now is this bizzare rule that yellows carry over and you can easily be banned for a QF or SF! So basically the teams who were taking it seriously and fielding their first team get punished because they'll likely have 2 players banned by semis. While the teams who got soft draws and fluked their way through not even playing their first team, will have no suspensions. They really need to drop that yellow card rule. Should not be punishing teams who go strong early!

That's not a bad thing. Semi takes precedence over a 4th round. Rather it that way than other way round.
That's not the point. Villa will have at least 8 days without a game before the 4th round tie. Whereas, Spurs will play 2 games in the same period before facing Villa.
But if we want to go far in all the comps that we are in, then we should expect to have lots of games. The issue is having a strong bench for the extra games.
Ridiculous Liverpool draw for Cup competition have ALWAYS been so favourable.
We need to get a couple of signings in and quality. Still need a defender in case vdv and romero break down.
